Miroslav Klose retired almost a decade ago, and there is no point in talking about him. And IMO, Germany is not one of the top-4 teams at this moment. For me, they are much weaker when compared to Brazil, Argentina, France and England. And I find it funny that Brazil has never won against teams such as Hungary. That maybe because they have played fewer matches between each other? And Hungary was extremely strong when they had players such as Ferenc Puskás. When was the last time these two teams met?

Portugal couldn't top their group in the UEFA qualifiers, because they were placed among one of the strongest European teams (Serbia). But their performance during the playoff matches were satisfactory. They managed to defeat Turkey by a margin of 3-1, and then defeated North Macedonia to gain qualification for Qatar 2022. I watched the highlights of both the playoff matches, and the team bonding looked exceptional for Portugal. For Qatar 2022, they will be placed alongside Uruguay and South Korea, so it is going to be tough.

How can you trust Italy, when they are not on the list of countries participating in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Regarding Portugal, they can do their best in the current World Cup. Judging from the players they have good players compared to previous years. Many players are mainstays in their respective teams, but to take the championship, I will not rush and have to see them first.

Even Portugal is not in good shape but still they are good and have some chance for qualifying into last 16 because I am feeling they are not good enough for lifting trophy in this event because they are not performing well in their campaign, and they have to face two very tough teams like Uruguay and South Korea which are emerging sides of this World Cup with having good quality players and good performance in their early matches in qualifiers.

Mostly peoples feeling Ronaldo can do good but he alone never been can give them this trophy he needs some good support from other players and this is not available with few players are still not good enough for having quality which is very important for this event most chances they will be out of top 16 and have no good enough chances for qualifying into last eight teams.
