For Enzo's strategy to work without Palmer in this game against West Ham, he will even repeat it again when Palmer is fit again. It was always between Wirtz and Palmer to be thrown out of the team, Palmer has made the choice easier for most to make.

Nobody at the club is benching Palmer or eating up his game minutes right now.  The extent of his injury is uncertain, but he has been playing with discomfort for some time now and suffered a severe knock against Crystal Palace; I believe we will not see him until after the international break.  He deserves some beak to heal, honestly. I'm holding.

I don't see Wirzt making the cut at the moment for me.

He really did a lot for the football and teams he managed but sometimes it seems he is his worst enemy. I will never understand how Foden didn't play more minutes over the years.

Foden's career has taken a downturn since winning the PFA, and he has completely disappeared from Palmer and Saka conversations, thanks to Pep.  He must move to try to save his career if he still has any ambition left.  He can't go to the World Cup sitting in the bench.

This is sentimental choice, there's nothing tactical about leaving someone like Foden on the bench always.

This week could have been much better for me so far. I changed my captain to Saka this time however I couldn't get enough efficiency from him unfortunately. He got injured early in the second half.

I got Cunha by selling Wirtz and I hope I don't regret for this change. I was so undecided between Rogers and Kudus earlier as well. I picked Rogers at the end which made me regretful so far. But still Aston Villa don't seem to have a tough fixture ahead for some weeks.

Thinking about doing the same as J. Pedro has proven himself to be a captain in the upcoming weeks for me because he has proven himself to being an assister and a goal scorer. I thought the preseason run was just a one time thing but he has given me reasons to trust him more. I just hope he can get me goals and assists to score higher in the next few games before we start facing some challenges. Sanchez is another disappointment for me, he's getting off my goal post and I'm going with someone I can trust to give me clean sheets even if it requires me sacrificing some of my defenders to raise money to balance the team. Getting disappointing results this days and I'm getting annoyed.

Mostly those who could not afford Cucurella but wanted a Chelsea defense since Sanchez is cheaper. Individually he's little way above Onana.

£5.0m for a premium goalkeeper is always going to feel like a steal on paper.

I think it was mainly due to Chelsea having some favourable fixtures from the start, but seriously apart from a general clean sheet that the entire team will keep I don’t see Sanchez any more better than the two you just mentioned and that’s why I stayed away from him. The only Chelsea defensive player that came to my mind was Cucurrella because of his contribution on the other end of the field, I seriously had a choice between him, Frimpong and Ait-Nouri. And i have had the last two after transferring Frimpong out for Ait-Nouri and now need to take Nouri too out. The entire Chelsea defense doesn’t looks like one that can get me those clean sheet bonuses and that’s why I still have doubts about Cucurrella yet again. In goal I have Selz who I think can even add save points for me than Sanchez

Yes Chelsea goalkeeper is supposed to br a premium goalkeeper but I don’t see Sanchez as one seriously.

For now Palmer for Bruno is definitely a good option for GW3 but for me I will actually see the performance of Bruno against Fulham again, I am still not convinced that this new central midfield role he his on now will limit him getting into the box more often but he still has the set pieces all to himself which is a good reason to just go for him.

Unbelievably, I seem to be stuck with my team as I was unable to change players before Chelsea demolished West Ham therefore lost potential points.

Anyway, for now at least I suppose nobody would hold it against me if I post this image. After the games that will be played today and tomorrow, the positions will change again but it does feel as though I am learning fast.

I guess that is way things play out. Sometimes things click and sometimes they do not. I made a mistake, I lost a lot of potential points by selecting an injured striker while still having £1 million in the bank and should have corrected it. At the same time making Joao Pedro captain was accidental as I did not knowingly select him but later making the captain triple points was my idea.

I think at the end of the season, if I end up in the top 5 from 35 teams, I will be very pleased. Having said all that, as a first time entrant I am just enjoying the whole process while learning at the same time. I have to send out a massive thank you to icopress for bringing this game and thread to my attention

The same here! I also had Fernandes in my team. He scored all of his last 5 penalties but missed this one... It was very unlucky for us.

I had Dorgu also. At least clean sheet could have helped me gain some good amount of points. But they couldn't resist until the end.

Another awful week is on the horizon for me, Salah captaincy is the only thing that can slightly help me above the average points for the week, some many household are just misbehaving Bruno Fernandes was really odd today, he di more complaining than actually playing, I don't know what his rant was all about, more like an intentionally missed penalty

Not directly, minutes aren't part of bonus points. But passes/tackles, chances created and whatnot are. And of course player that is on the pitch longer collects them more. On the other hand yellow cards/missed chances/getting caught in offside result in negative BPS so sometimes early exit isn't the worst.

Ndiaye finished with 8 points. 0 bonus unless something changes. They recount those after matches sometimes and he was one BPS point away from getting into the bonus.

My Palmer auto sub got me only 1 shitty point, have Gakpo and Salah ( C) left to play. I need Salah brace, Gakpo assist and a goal to heal!

The fantasy official page reported 15 managers TC Timber - there's always some aliens someone with multiple fpl accounts tweeting and making weird choices to win the weekly and monthly prizes. Another proof that Aliens exists.
