Ordinarily, Manchester City should beat Leeds United with relative ease but this season Manchester City will not have many easy games. I still expect them to win 2-1 or 3-1 because they are playing at home.

Yeah, at the Etihad, City should comfortably beat Leeds. Haaland should also get at least a brace today, but almost everyone has him in their team and captained him too, so it should make no difference for us all, lol. I have Nico O'Reilly in my team, so i hope he performs well and gives me good points, that should be a good differential for me. Trust me the season is not, it's always a marathon not a sprint, of course it will be tough, but not impossible especially when there still second of round of chips in the second half of the season.

The only compensation I can get from this round would be for Mbeumo and Minteh to make up for the -4 points I had to take to bring them in, and Thiago was an immediate win for me, and dumping Joao Pedro seem completely justified with Chelsea even yet to play.

Meh, solid start but all of you that didn't play FH chip have so many players left to play. Really curious to see how my FH will perform against my regular team, so far looks ok, but just one haul from some of the standard players that I omitted and it is wasted chip.

Even with all of the issues that exist in this Manchester City team, they managed to score a late goal and are in 2nd place in the Premier League table. Since the start of the season they have failed to handle a lot of the criticism and pressure. Now it seems as though they are trying to get that fighting mentality again.

I still believe no team in the Premier League is scared to play them because they have lost the aura they had a couple of seasons ago. Leeds United were close to earning a draw (before Foden scored the late winner). They will lose games and drop points just as is the case with Liverpool therefore this has to be a chance for Arsenal and Chelsea to win the Premier League.

Harkorede is right, this is marathon and there's still plenty time and chips to catch up - the triple captain chip is always this way ist either you're killing or getting killed so it's normal. Too early to start talking about giving up, I have no idea how many chips you have left but start making plans for them. You don't need double Everton Midfield to start with.

You have as many player as those of us without the FH and all you probably need is an Aston Villa cleansheet and a Liverpool win with Salah getting a positive return, if that does happen then I don’t think cls might have too much on you to win the round.

Not really, I have 5 players left and most people I look to beat have 7,8 or even 9 left. For me to say this free hit was successful I need this team to outscore my old team by at least 15 points. For that to happens I need Villa and Liverpool to do good while for it to not happen it is also not that far fetched. For instance CP scoring few against United with Sarr and Mateta combining or Arsenal winning 1:0 at Chelsea with Saka goal.

Haaland really did us all dirty. It’s lucky that most of us played him instead of using the Free Hit chip. I was definitely in a dilemma about whether to triple-captain him, and sadly I chose wrong.

Yeah, I still have a few players left to play this week, but I honestly don’t know if this will even be a 30-point week. I totally missed everything this week.

I have never taken a points hit that turned out to be the good call, I brought in Mbeumo for Ndiaye and Welbeck for Joao Pedro (JP for Wellbeck was a necessity because of the budget needed to get Mbeumo) knowing fully well that Wellbeck would be on my bench, now Mbeumo was a no show, and picking up a yellow card, If only I did make the move I’d have an extra transfer, 5 more points and the injury to Sarr would have been an easy fix but here we are.
