Christ, these pools are so competitive on BTT. I just checked and I'm in top 15% in world rankings and in our pool I'm in the bottom half.

I gambled a lot in the last 2 rounds trying to catch up - and most of the games had realistic results so it backfired.
I'm now out of the paying spots for sure, and congrats to KTC for a dominant win. He's 8th in global rankings that has over 22.000 participants

He is already the winner since long ago in this pool and the fact that he is 8th from 22.000 participants says a lot about his knowledge in the Champions League,it cannot be always good luck as luck only comes once or twice.I had two wins in the predictions yesterday and both teams were winning until late in the game where both got equalized and as such resulting in 0 points for me in this pool.I am also out of this pool prize spots because of yesterday results,if the game both were wins I would still be fighting for that 10th prize spot.

this is the case in all pools, not just CL
it is probably safe to say that most competitors from Superbru give up in non-paying pools, and this one is payable, so it should have better user retention than usual

but overall, that does not mean that BTT competition winner will be within top100 in whole user count, and it usual is, which says a lot of about users that compete here

I haven't formally guaranteed myself first place yet, but the probability that I'll score less than 3.5 points in the remaining games and bullrun2020bro guess the correct score in 5 games is approximately 6⁵ * 1.3 =~ 1 in 10,000. So I hope that first prize is already mine.

It's been a long and sometimes exhausting journey (it's hard to be a leader and not think you're close to winning, but there are always so many games to the end) due to the friendly trolling in this thread, hehe.
Of the highlights, I remember this one:

IMO, you will finish second
low chances on 3-5 places to reach you on position two, hopefully, we will end-up fighting for these positions, and not end-up on 6-10 places, but it is a close fight till last match

five matches to go, I somehow reached top5 after first kick-out round, and trying to find some niche to stay there, in a otherwise bad season in all pools
but, I expected to have bad season after getting a lot of rewards last year, cycles of luck are spinning

Well, got totally blown out of the water. Bets, picks, Napoli nonsense heh.

So yeah, I was in Naples camp, the way they play, man they deserve no less than a final. But you know what we mostly forgot about? Experience, history, whatever you want to call it. Which the Milan teams each have bundles over Napoli.

Even the Portuguese side fell short, so one really has to wonder now if Inter / Milan are going to take it all. It wasn't the final I wanted, but Italy vs Spain or England has every ingredient needed for magic.

Early congratulations to bullrun2020bro and KTChampions, I agree, hard to see things move too much. May is a long way away, but I hope everyone can prepare their wallet address for prize disbursements. I'd like to settle everything in a single batch payment!

Yes its until 10 place the price distribution, anyway the competitions its not ended i think .

Thanks. I understand you perfectly and with all due respect to your pursuers, I wish you to win second place. The long distance is really exhausting and after you've been in the top 2 for the whole race, it's going to be frustrating to miss out on this position.

By the way, the games in the semi-finals are expected to be very random - bookmakers give City an advantage over Real, and there are not even quotes regarding the second pair (I checked in the afternoon, maybe something has changed). It will be very difficult to predict these games.

I was not serious in my predictions throughout the season, so I hope to achieve the deserved positions in the next season if the competition continues. Same here, well, bottom 4 is more or less last, I'm glad to share this positions with you and Trofo, I was shocked to see him so low there, and even pool organizer is quite low down, what happened to you guys :p

But undoubtedly, it's amazing to see many new faces doing so well, I honestly should learn not to back my own teams in these contests as they cost me problems.

I was thinking of playing draw for one match Bayern vs Manchester City, but I changed it to away win result 1:2.
For second match I expected narrow win by Inter with 1:0, but we had goal fest of six goals.
Two correct scores from day before was enough for me to win yellow cap with six points, but jayce was close behind this round.
I think Man City will win Champions League trophy this season.

Napoli cost me more than anyone else. In the group stage or TOP 16, can't remember, between Liverpool and Napoli I was all for Liverpool [you know why LOL] but Napoli was over the TOP. That allowed me to change my mind. Since then I had high hopes for them and always went in their favour but ended up losing points.

Not in hurry. Will have a serious look if I have something to withdraw from them. I am hoping if I end up winning anything then it will be in the Betnomi account.

Very important for me and few others. I am considering bullbro and KTC are now out of chase. So both of them secured their places. We have left fight for 3rd and other places. Good and average rounds are fine but one bad round is going to cost a lot.

There are 12 maximum points in semifinals and I think 6 more in final and match for third place, so I am hoping to move up more on table.

there is no 3rd place match in CL, so five matches to go, 15 points at maximum, realistically, no one can expect more than 10

nevertheless, all matches in SF can go every way, expect City playing home against Real, presume that all participants will go on City to win in that match, all other will probably have odds above 2 on all outcomes
Inter vs Milan is practically two matches, where there is no home advantage, so everything could be expected (IMO, Milan will see Istanbul, and they have no good memories on that city, looking back at Liverpool match)

Who does not want to be in the top 10 positions  as the last place prize is a good one 4x the entry fee here but with just 5 games to go things are at an unprecedented level of difficulty,a lot of people have chances in theory but as always the ones more favored are those who have like 3-4 points distance to the 10th position.

This year Champions League has been really good as we finally have an Italian team finalist despite me thinking whichever of them,Inter or Milan stand no chance to win against Real or Manchester City and as such I exclude them from the possibility of winning the Champions.
