There are strong teams in the champions league this season but their is this team that always beat big teams but they will not still near the finals. Ajax Amsterdam, Paris Saint Germain and Manchester city. Ajax can win tough clubs in the league and still yet, would be eliminated from either round 8 or quarter finals. Manchester city were once given the chance to lift the UEFEA trophy but they failed after losing to Chelsea in the finals. Concerning PSG, I don't really know their problem and can't just see the reason why they can't win the UEFEA because they have one of the best squad in the league and they always lift the Ligue 1 title with ease. Let's hope one of them lift the trophy this season.

Exactly, they are in a league that isnt competitive enough to test them week in week out. Probably the softest league out of the top 5. I've checked the history of the Champions League and saw 0 finale between Real Madrid and Barcelona. It is very interesting, isn't it?

Real Madrid faced La Liga teams in the finale a couple of times before. There was a time period that Barcelona also were becoming champions here quite often. But they never came across each other in the finale. From now on, we have a really strong Barcelona despite losing to Bayern Munich like that. This team have a potential to be one of the number one title contenders in the near future thanks to Xavi's management style. Maybe we could see an El Clasico in the finale in the future too.

But for this season, Barcelona might not make a better progress than Real Madrid considering Real Madrid's incredible work here in the recent years. What do you say, they are with Shakhtar and Leipzig which incidentally are Champions League subscription teams for several seasons.

Maybe this goal will give him motivation in his next game. His off form may turn into on form again. It's sad to think that a world-class player like him is in such a bad state. Ronaldo may not be able to return to his former form but he can continue to try his best.

One thing about predicting UCL is that you always missed it with big teams. Take a look at 2 season ago winners, Chelsea, they started off badly and then come February after changing coach they won it. Same thing happened to Real Madrid last season, they look a lost team in the group stages and even lost to new comers Sheriff, but they proceed to win it miraculously by beaten the best teams in Europe. Real Madrid were of course lucky after they were confirmed in Group F where the other 3 teams didn't seem like a big deal to them. I don't think we will drop points in the group stage even if Benzema is out through injury. Leipzig, Shakhtar Donetsk and Celtic seem to be easy opponents for Real Madrid, so I hope we are safe to lead the table until matchday 6.

For now I don't want to talk too much especially about the final yet to be seen. Even if Real Madrid can easily qualify for the last 16, it won't guarantee anything we can get to the final this season.

So far we know Ajax as a dark horse team that often surprises in the champions league, but like you, I also really doubt if Ajax can perform well enough this season, indeed they are still in good form in the Eredivisie League but for the champions league it looks like it will It's very difficult to get out of the pressure of Napoli and Liverpool, last season Ajax could look quite impressive even though they were stopped in the last 16 because they have a capable squad, but this season many great Ajax players have moved to other teams so it seems that Ajax journey this season will only end in group phase as you said.
