I don't agree with you about Ajax, they played great against Liverpool and confidently beat Rangers. Despite the fact that Napoli started the group stage well, it still doesn't mean anything. Ajax will almost certainly beat Napoli at home and possibly beat Liverpool as well. The group is very complex and everything is very confusing in it. The only thing that can be said for sure is that Rangers will be in last place, although even they sometimes have breakthroughs when they start to play better, but now the Champions League is clearly not their level.

Very true, Ajax have better performance in their domestic league, compared to Liverpool in their domestic league. However, their last match is against Napoli which has been playing very well in this champions league, while Liverpool will face Rangers which is easier compared to Napoli, so I am on the Liverpool side if we talk about going to the next round.

I've checked it and seen this.    This time Real Madrid's odd is very low which is not worth adding to a betslip. Real Madrid over 1.5 goals doesn't have any odd yet so maybe it might be more logical to bet on. Because Real Madrid don't have much problem on scoring multiple goals now.

Real beat the stronger (albeit formally) Leipzig and Celtic without any problems, so such odds for a home game are quite expected (although I see no reason to bet with such low odds). Playing regularly with Barelona, Real Madrid is unlikely to be surprised by Shakhtar's style of play with many passes and ball control. Barcelona will win easily in today's match. I don't want to think about losing. Barcelona is far ahead of the opposition. I think today's game is just a warm-up for Barcelona. The opposing team will play defensively. They will want to draw the game.

Barcelona will face Elche who is the weakest team in La Liga, facing Elche is not a difficult job for Barcelona at the moment and I think Xavi will field a second-tier barcelona squad to face Elche later, so far Barcelona have managed to get positive results and they can  4 wins and 1 draw from 5 matches, while Elche only got 1 point from 1 draw and 4 defeats from 5 matches, considering the easy opponent for barcelona of course the potential for 3 points will be easy to get today and of course Xavi will rotate players and save some main players in that the match to face a more difficult match in the champions league later.

Again and again Real Madrid was not in the prediction, because the previous season also Real Madrid were not considered for the Champions League title but in fact they were kings. I just don't want to have high hopes for any team to win the title this season, because I am also aware that some big teams with great squads certainly have a chance to win the title. For now I don't want to talk too much especially about the final yet to be seen. Even if Real Madrid can easily qualify for the last 16, it won't guarantee anything we can get to the final this season.

Actually it is not possible to say which team will play the final. The season has just started and we have to wait for a few more days, as all the teams are in pretty good form at the moment. But Real Madrid really deserve to play in the final.

Benfica and Napoli performed very well earlier this season... To be honest I thought Juventus could beat Benfica, but they failed to do so at home... Most likely the return game will also be a close game... I think PSG and Benfica will be able to go on from this group as the strongest clubs, but Juventus will have a chance to fight for the chance to make it out of the group!

Juventus appeared so very disappointing at the start of this season.  Four defeats in a row clearly reap great criticism from the fans.  Allegri was in the spotlight for the disgraceful result.  Juventini's anger has been seen in various media, they want Allegri to leave.  In this case the President of Juventus must immediately take a stand, because their hopes of continuing to advance in the Champions League are very small, if they continue to show such a game.

Will Allegri be sacked? Or will they last until winter or for another season? And the result could be worse for Juventus. Benfica are not tired of creating chances, they are capable of scoring goals, once again the Portuguese team remains firmly established as the dark horse in the competition once again. In fact, Benfica could actually embarrass Juventus by scoring at least 3 or 4 more goals.

I'd actually be very surprised if that doesn't happen, and probably very soon.
Allegri is an old-fashioned coach who tries to achieve success with old ideas, but that no longer works in modern football.
Juve was very active in the football market and invested a lot in new players, but there are no results.
In both competitions, the Italian championship and the Champions League, Juve had a very poor start and it is obvious that there must be an urgent change.
Otherwise, Juve could suffer the fate of Barcelona from last season,  not do qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League.

I think, it will be difficult for PSG to win this season trophy because their starting in this UEFA champions competition, showed that they will not go far in this season if their coach continue benching some of the players that know how to attract early goals on the first half. If PSG coach can work on their midfield before their next match, I believe there will be massive change, because their strikers are lacking help from their midfielders. I don't think Ajax can defeat Manchester city in this season, because many things has changed in Manchester city in this season that will make them unbeatable through out this tournament.

This is going to be a long season and with the world cup coming up soon the league fixtures are really tight so it is understandable to see some squad rotations on various occasions to give room to other players and to rest the best ones for tougher games. Sometimes these rotations term to drop the teams performance but in the long run it is important to preserve the best players for the toughest games.

The Champions League is an elite competition in Europe, all the teams that play there will try to reduce all their strength in order to perform optimally. Rotation is very necessary when a team has a busy schedule, the coach does not carelessly rotate certain matches such as in the Champions League. Usually the coach rotates in the League Cup or domestic League when dealing with weak teams. The coach must give time off for key players in order to perform optimally in the Champions League, because the main target of a team at the end of the season is to secure the Champions League trophy.

The lot of transfers made by juventus some time ago many predicted that juventus would be title challengers this season, but in fact juventus continued to get bad results in a row in serie A and champions league, I think it is impossible to blame the current players because they are have a capable squad, so inevitably Allegri performance is questionable at this time, I also think that Allegri coaching methods and strategies are quite ancient and many opposing teams have understood and can read the weaknesses of Allegri strategy, I think if Allegri really loves Juventus, it's time for him to leave his position before Juventus gets worse, because as far as I know, Allegri has a long-term contract at Juventus, so it's difficult for Juventus to fire allegri unless they are willing to spend big enough money as compensation for allegri.

Basically I watched the entire game. Borussia Dortmund played really well. They always prevented Manchester City from getting the ball. Their defense has shown great potential. I expected them to win the game. But Haland's goal in the last phase of the game put Dortmund behind and ultimately defeated.

Because it was too defensive, so it made Manchester City play quite loose in the middle of the field, and I think if they played loose, maybe they could get a draw, but the second goal scored by Haaland further reduced the chances for Dortmund. There were several opportunities that Dortmund couldn't maximize on scoring goals, this should be of particular concern in the next match against Sevilla.

To lose to Manchester city is not that big of a deal. Manchester city is a superb team made up of top notch players that play as a team to get the desired goal. Dortmund played well and tried their best. They were rewarded with a goal but couldn’t hold or  keep up the pressure as Manchester city came from behind and scored 2 goals to win the match. Haaland with the late goal came through for Manchester city to score and win the game against his former teammates. Haaland is undeniably a prolific striker and he’s bound to make a difference in his time at Manchester city.

Why not be a big deal, it's a qualifier which is certainly important to secure full points, and if Dortmund's game was a bit more open and didn't defend completely, maybe they could have got a draw in that game, so against Sevilla on 12 October it would be easier, because if Dortmund lose their next match, it will place them in third place in Group G.

You are probably right that this would be the most logical step given what the market for managers currently looks like.

The way things played out for Tuchel were just amazing. Get sacked by PSG, go to Chelsea and beat Manchester City in the final. That is a story any coach can only dream of. But it did work out. Would it work out again that way? I really think that involves so much luck and lucky circumstances, nobody can tell.

Tuchel seems to be a person that solely lives based on his success. If he wins, he stays, if he loses, he has to leave. The reason is that there is no sympathy between him and his employers ever. The soccer business is hard, but Tuchel takes it to another level to his own disadvantage at times. Eventually, he doesn't care because he can sign amazing contracts. If he gets sacked, he goes home with millions and millions in his pocket for no work whatsoever for several years to come.

I don't know if Tuchel is the right person to get it on track. I find it strange that they sent him away from Chelsea. That 1-1 this week against Dynamo Zagreb was of course the fatal day. Sometimes the team's performance will go down because of the coach's mistake, it can be seen from how the team's performance has dropped from time to time so that club management must dare to take the decision to fire and change coaches.

Bayern are indeed most likely to qualify from the group stage after winning twice in a row, now in Group C like you said Barcelona and Inter
will fight for second place to qualify for the next round. Meanwhile, Viktoria Plzen has been confirmed to be in 4th position, after experiencing
two consecutive defeats. The Inter vs Barcelona match will determine which of the two teams is more eligible to qualify for the next round.
I also seem to predict Barcelona will qualify from the group stage as runners-up, because I don't see Inter being able to beat Barcelona.
When compared from the quality of the players, however, Barcelona is better, moreover Inter are also playing inconsistently in Serie A,
and different from Barcelona who play consistently in La Liga. In terms of preparation Barcelona are also better in facing this season,
which Barcelona is considered very active in bringing in many quality new players to be able to win many trophies this season.
So it is likely that Inter will fail to qualify from the group stage and continue playing in the Europa League.

Ajax are one of the regular teams in the Champions League and even though they are currently missing some of their core players from last season such as Antony, Haller and Martinez but in any case they are still strong at the moment.
Napoli did well in these 2 matches but I am actually quite skeptical they will qualify because I think they will only return to the Europa League at the end considering the performance when looking back on last season which is difficult to predict, it is not impossible now it will be like that .

Surprise every possible, there must have been Villarreal and Salzburg last season was full of surprises but things like that are only limited to being a stumbling block because still when you are at the end the big teams are always at the top.
Currently in the group stage Club Brugge managed to surprise me in group B because with opponents who can be said to be quite well-known in the Champions League like Atletico, Porto and Leverkusen they now stand comfortably at the top of the group standings.

There is a bit of situation where they may think that they could end up with a good amount of "underestimating the opponent" going on as well. I am not saying that each loss attributed to that, but the example we gave, Bayern losing to Villareal was a typical underestimating the opponent.

Bayern was much better team, not even close on levels, and Villareal took that as advantage and used that to make a good unexpected win. Bayern thought they would win easily, 3-0 or 4-0 style, and they didn't expected a team that strong and united against them. These type of situations do rise up time to time and I believe that it could happen this year as well.

This is one of the problems when looking at last season.
We know when Bayern lost because they could be said to underestimate Villarreal as well as City who at that time had a pretty confident lead over Madrid but were reversed in a short time.
Sometimes something like underestimating your opponent is a mistake that can actually turn out to be quite fatal. But when last season they felt this way then maybe they can learn from their mistakes.
