We gotta give credit, Ireland played pretty good but still lost. Netherlands is lucky to have Dumfries honestly, he changed the game. And we have to say that this team's striker is Weghorst, not anybody else. Now Ireland have no chance to advance. France is first, Netherlands and Greece are fighting for second spot. Netherlands has just passed an important turn tonight. Considering their future fixture, Greece has a though task. I believe Netherlands will stay in second place and reach Euro 2024 after last three games.

Wait then, I know Weghorst has the goals, but so does Gakpo, in fact he gets them faster, higher rate, and is first choice penalty kick taker. How does that not make him a striker of choice above Weghorst?

And lets not forget Bergwijn also, Weghorst is suitable for different approach but he doesn't start, he makes the team slow and less creative,

Also , funny how Greece scored 5 goals but if you try and bet a place on Greece internal competition to have goals , they won't score more than 2  .

Greece only faces Gilbartar, a team that has not been able to score at all in its 5 matches so it can be believed that they are the weakest team in the group but are also qualified together with San Marino who both have not managed to score a goal.

This match should be quite even if we compare the odds between the two teams, not much different even though Bosnia is the favorite as the away team but Iceland will give resistance to their guests to get points. The first match Bosnia was able to win with a fairly large goal margin but this time it looks like it will be difficult to repeat, they still have a chance to win but with a very narrow score but my prediction is that this will be a match with the final result being a draw.

Despite the fact that Armenia is playing at home, they will have very low chances of winning, Croatia is a very strong team and they will almost certainly be able to win today. I somehow missed yesterday that Poland lost to Albania, this defeat puts them in a very difficult position, they of course still have a chance of qualifying from the group, but they still have to play with the Czech Republic, their situation is very difficult.

I don't understand why, but Croatia played three games when Armenia played four...

It is a group of five nations, so at one point in time there will be one of the countries who has played one less game than all the others since they are not perfectly paired as they will be in a group of four.

In the end every team will play the full eight matches as hey will face the other four teams across two legs.

Judging by the bookies it will be a close call and I agree with them with 2.85 win for Iceland,2.40 win for Bosnia and 2.65 the draw which they think will be the most likely result.I don't think it will be a draw as it would not suit any of the teams to make an impact,both teams will fight for the 3 points during today game and yes judging the other games they seem pretty easy on paper with Croatia to win,Wales to win,Portugal to win and also Slovakia to win,not an interesting day today for the qualifiers overall.

While this game is indeed very important for us (Croatia), even if we lose against Armenia, it would put us 3 points behind them and Turkey while having ones less game played. With 4 games left to be played while both Turkey and Armenia having to come to us (and we never lost game at home during EURO qualifications) we still have plenty of chances to finish among top 2. Hopefully it doesn't come to that though and we beat Armenia tonight but I don't think that it will be as easy as everyone thinks.

Albania beat their tough opponent Poland 2-0 and stayed in the lead in the group.
Poland has only 2 wins in the group.

Serbia beat Lithuania 3-1, Mitrovic played very well in this match.

Poland after 5 games has only 6 points and fourth place in the group. There are only three games left and although two of them are theoretically easy - against Faroe and Modova, the third is against the Czech Republic. I wonder if the Czech Republic does not qualify, will it get into the qualifying tournament for losers? It seems not - they are doing very badly in the League of Nations (on the basis of which the selection for the tournament for losers is made).

Armenia will host Croatia at home.Armenia, who drew against Turkey, need to get a decisive point from this game if they want to get out of the group.Croatia are 2nd in the group with a game in hand, which might encourage them to play a more relaxed game. I think even a possible point for Croatia would be enough.There has only been one match between the two teams and that was about 2 years ago.We know that it ended in a 1-1 draw.Armenia beat Wales 4-2 in the group and I think they can find a goal in this match as well.

Some of the big teams made a come back in this round. Spain thrashed Georgia by a margin of 7-1 and thereby secured the second position in Group A. Now they are behind Scotland (who have 15 points from 5 matches). In Group B, Netherlands managed a big comeback and now they are in second position behind France. Other surprise is from Group G, where Hungary is leading now with 10 points form 4 matches. September round is completed in this group, and the win by Hungary over Serbia is having a big impact.

Turkey really needed to make a change in their manager position especially after that poor performance against Armenia. Stefan Kuntz is leaving and he will probably be replaced by Abdullah Avci. The replacement would be good for them honestly. Because Abdullah Avci is a Turkish manager which they needed in the first place.

I believe it is better for national teams to have a manager who knows the players better and speaks the same language with them. This increase the chance of being a more successful team if that manager is a decent one in his job also. From now on we might see Turkey playing better in the remaining qualifier matches.

Ah, I misunderstood you then. I got confused by that "out of the group" thing, as I thought that you meant if Croatia loses against Armenia they will most likely be out of EURO.

I have always found it absurd that a coach like Stefan Kuntz was brought in to take charge of the Turkish national team.Kuntz is not a well-known coach and the fact that the Turkish national team has failed for a long time makes me question the meaning of bringing in such a coach. We saw in the match against Armenia that Stefan Kuntz is not an adequate coach.It has been said that he will continue, but it would be a very good development for the national team to make a change as soon as possible.It doesn't matter who will come, but a Turkish coach will be better for the communication with the team and team spirit.

I agree that is the question because the odd of Portugal of less than 1.10 says that this game should have quite some goals and prediction pages for football betting are all pointing to at least Over 3.5 goals as the main bet with near 1.80 odd for such game.I think we will see goals but most likely it will be very difficult for Luxembourg to score a goal to Portugal in Portugal home when we know that their goal difference is 15:0 meaning they have not conceded a single goal yet and surely Luxembourg is not the team to do it,to score their first goal against them if they play seriously,they are already qualified though and they may not give a damn about this game and they can concede quite some goals.
