Spain finally can got revenge from Scotland yesterday and the goals from Morata and Oihan Sancet make them win with the final scores 2-0 and during the match Spain has 75% ball possession which make they can able to pressing Scotland defensive lines and it make make Scotland playing under pressure and they were unable to develop their game and this result is open Spain opportunities to overtake first position from Scotland because currently Spain has 12 points from 5 matches and so far in group A there were no surprising result today because after Spain can collect 3 points then Norway too can gets easy win from weak team Cyprus and Haaland has scores 2 goals which bringing Norway to win with big scores 4-0

Well.. they are still behind Scotland as far as points table is concerned (BTW, I am not forgetting the fact that Spain has played one match fewer than Scotland). They were 0-0 at half-time, so I had some hope for Scotland. But they went overly defensive and in the end it cost them the match. Had they played their natural game, then the outcome would have been better for them. When someone focus solely on defense, it gives the advantage to the other team. They can focus on attacking. And this is what happened yesterday.

The night of yesterday was with quite some surprise results with Albania leading it after a 3-0 win against Czech Republic and this is not a surprise considering the red hot form of Albania at the moment and that of the attackers with Jasani scoring another goalazzo yesterday but the surprise is how Czech to concede 3 goals in a game when they had conceded just 2 in all other games that they played so far.Maybe the red card impacted the game and the result should have been a lot higher than that considering how many wasted chances there were there.Albania for the second time in Euro cup as I believe they will absolutely win their last game at home against Faroe Island and they just need 1 point to qualify considering that other opponents will play each other.

It was a mystery when it comes to how Turkey would play against Croatia last night. Croatia were favoured highly for the win as Turkey were on the decline in performance. However we watched a completely different team there. There was a big difference between Turkey in the Armenia match and here.

Vincenzo Montella managed to make his players show a good performance despite its being his first game. We could have even won by a bigger score gap too. I just didn't like Hakan Calhanoglu's performance at our side. He is playing different when it comes to the national team. He isn't this bad at Inter. 

Anyway we got the needed win for us and this win will most probably carry us to Euro 2024.

Never expected Croatia to lose against Turkey. But even now, there is no threat as such for Croatia. They are comfortably placed with 10 points and they are well ahead of Armenia and Wales. Armenia lost against Latvia as well, else they would have had the same points as Croatia. Also, let's not forget the fact that Croatia has played one match less when compared to both Turkey and Armenia. But the standings are not going to change anytime soon. Tukey's next match is against a weak Latvia, while Croatia will be facing Wales (who are in a state of suspended animation after the retirement of Gareth Bale).

Calhanoglu is a great player and he maybe had a bad night yesterday personally but what is important is that Turkey got the win and the score could have been bigger.I am sorry as I lost a big parlay from Turkey yesterday night as I got everything right,Norway,Spain,Poland,Kosovo and Albania all of them winning and I was not 100% convinced for Croatia but when I saw Croatia stats that they were great before the start of the game and that they were playing on home soil I decide to add them to my parlay which lost a really good parlay for me.Nevertheless I will make sure to win tonight.

Formally it is true that Armenia and Latvia are rather weak opponents, but as we know from the experience of Luxembourg, even not the strongest teams can win one or more matches. Soccer is just a way for many people in Armenia to forget about Karabakh, and Wales managed to get 7 points and is only 3 points behind Croatia. Without Gareth Bale the national team is weaker, but at home they always play at 100% and play every time as the last one and remind something of Scotland.

So the fight is ahead, the chance that Croatia will not get out of the group is extremely low, but if they lose to Wales, they will make it very difficult to get out of the group.

Croatia is quite strong national team with several of its mainstay players who always perform quite well but in their last match they had to suffer a 0-1 defeat to Turkey who are currently in first place in Group D with 13 points.
In the next match at the start of next week Turkey will face Latvia and if in this match Turkey can win again there is big possibility that they will qualify for the next round very easily and Croatia will have to try hard to catch up.

What is interesting is Portugal from group J who were able to get all the wins and now they have 18 points so they have very big difference from Slovakia with 13 points.
These two teams will also meet today and I think Portugal will win this match.

LOL.. sometimes Luciano Spalletti gets unfair criticism for the poor performance of the Italian team. But Italy has been without the players of the calibre of Roberto Di Matteo, Roberto Baggio and Filippo Inzaghi for quite some time, and now Spalletti is putting a lot of effort in rebuilding the team from younger players. And the outcome has been mixed. But Italy has performed decently in this tournament so far. They have 7 points from 4 matches, and don't forget that they are in the same group along with England, Ukraine and North Macedonia.

First of all, thanks to ILUckyGuyI for posting these odds. Just now I placed two bets on Stake.com. One for Scottish win, and the second one for a draw. The odds are so ridiculous, that I don't want to miss out on the opportunity. We have 6 hours to go for the match, and I am hoping for an upset at Estadio de La Cartuja in Sevilla (In India, the match will be broadcasted live on Sony Sports Ten2 HD). I was looking into their recent matches as well. Scotland's last match was against England on 13th September, which they lost by a margin of 1-3.

My pleasure. It was a nice try by you to give Scotland a chance after seeing these odds. Until a point I was also doubting Spain to even win the game. Because they were in control of the game but they weren't able to just score that goal to get ahead. Thankfully Morata opened the deadlock and we saw another after that. I'm happy for giving Spain Handicap 0:1 a try.  


By the way I also watched the Croatia - Turkey game. It was the opposite of the scenario I expected. We played really strongly against Croatia and deserved the win from the beginning to the end. This was the toughest one among the remaining games of the qualifiers stage.

Both Austria and Belgium are going to play this upcoming match without a number of their key players due to injuries problem. Even though Austria would have the luxury of playing this match with home advantage but I think that will not be enough to stop Austria from a loss against Belgium in Group F today.

It wasn't a pleasant thing for Croatia of course because Turkiye's goal was scored in the 30th minute of the first half but Croatia really had difficulty responding, it's quite understandable when the goal was scored in the final minutes of the match so there was little time left to reply but this is not a good thing.
Today's match is Netherlands vs France, the match could be very interesting, France, which is predicted to win, will certainly not get it easily, and the Netherlands will certainly try to win because Greece can shift their position if Greece succeeds in winning against Ireland which has almost the same power so that both teams have the same chance of winning.

Even though the odds on the draw option are quite high, I'm not sure this match will end in a draw, because I think the draw in their first meeting was a coincidence, Belgium should have won there. Scotland has already gained a significant advantage by winning all 5 matches with a big surprise. If Spain wins this match, Norway will have almost no chance. I think Spain will beat Scotland in this match and make sure that both teams will qualify from the group today.

Scotland was unable to maintain the conceded goals statistics because the final result was Spain winning 2-0. Turkey performed the best, defeating Croatia to lead the group with 13 points. I was definitely taken aback by Croatia since I didn't think Turkey would defeat them at home (Stadion Maksimir). For Zlatko Dalic to tie Turkey on points, Wales must lose. Croatia played well, but their efforts were insufficient; therefore, they must work hard to defeat Wales. In order to move Armenia from third place in the group standings, Robert Page must triumph. In my opinion, Wales requires cooperation and teamwork to succeed. The European 2024 in Germany will be fantastic, and I anticipate seeing a lot of games played there.
