He left the goal too early and Barış Alper managed to score with a beautiful shot. It is an enjoyable match for him. I didn't think we would play this well in the Croatia match. The best player for Croatia is Gvardiol. He showed once again that he is an important defender by blocking many positions. I hope to watch a more enjoyable match in the second half.

But i dont think that will happen Spain needs a win badly here if not they will make things a lot more complicated. Spain has a young team but i think if they score and early goal it will be a walk in the park for them.

It may happen that Scotland wins. There is more pressure on them now that Norway leads because they now need to win this game if they will qualify. I didn't have much hope in the Croatia match either, maybe due to the losses in the past and the change of coach at the moment, the Turkish national team played a really disciplined and quality game and now the match is over and we didn't make any mistakes after the goal scored by Barış Alper. It was a good night.

Even though Croatia was in control throughout the match, we managed to achieve the result with a single goal. It was an important victory. Croatia is the toughest opponent in the group.

For the first time in many years, Scotland looks like the real deal and a team to beat any European competition. Though they lost tonight's game against Spain and final scoreline of a football game is the biggest statistics, one can authoritatively say that Scotland real gave Spain a good fight in that game.
Despite the loss tonight, Scotland is still at the top of the Group A table with 15 points ahead of Spain who has gotten 12 points from five games. Scotland I think are very likely to qualify to the finals of the nexts year's edition of the UEFA Euro competition.

 I wasn't expecting Turkey to victory. Croatia lost 1-0 to Turkey at home. Barış Alper Yılmaz scored Turkey's goal. I haven't watched Croatia perform this badly in a long time. They couldn't become very effective during the whole game.

If Turkey keep to perform this much impressive, they can finish the group as the leader too. In the other match of the group, Latvia beat Armenia.

I am quite happy that we won, there was a lot of question marks about this game because Croatia is a great team as we all know and we just sacked our manager so it was the very first game of our new manager Montella and he didn't spend even a week with the team I think, so it was impossible for him to plan anything with the team, as he was a coach in Turkiye before this position, he knew some of the players and that helped him I am sure, but it was still a quick time period and it was a hard one. I am glad that we won, the players played with some passion and wanted to win, which was something we haven't seen in a while, it was refreshing to see them fight so hard. We are almost nearly guaranteed to go up, next games seems easy enough, and we are up enough points to be even the leader of the group.

What surprised me most today is such easy Albania win against Czech Republic - 3:0. It doesn't just improves Albania chances to reach EURO, but also it's big favour for Poland in fight for 2nd place in group.

It's common thing that after change of manager team start to play better at least in short term. It doesn't always brings good result in long term, but in first 1-2 games after change of manager, team usually plays better. For me it looked a bit strange that Croatia was favoured so much before the game, but still, Turkey win is surprise.
Latvia win against Armenia can't be called as upset, though, I'm a bit surprised that Latvia managed to score second goal with 1 men down. This loss makes Armenia chances in fight for 2nd place very complicated.

Croatia has 10 points, Turkey has 3 points more. If Turkey could beat Armenia last term, they would now have 15 points and would almost be guaranteed to finish as leaders in the group, but now Croatia will be ahead of Turkey with goal difference after completing their missing match. Anyway, as far as I know, finishing first or second will have no impact on Euro 2024, so just participating in the tournament is enough.

Damn.. lost some money yesterday after placing bets in favor of Scotland. They ended up losing by 0-2 to Spain. Anyway, it was a risk worth taking. Most of the sportsbooks were underestimating Scotland, so I thought that it will be a good idea to place a bet in their favor. But despite the loss, Scotland is leading in Group A (as they had defeated Spain previously). Now it is almost certain that Norway won't be able to qualify, despite their win yesterday against Cyprus. Erling Håland and Alexander Sørloth scored the goals yesterday as Norway won by a margin of 4-0. But in 2024 also, we are not going to see them in the main tournament.

Spain finally can got revenge from Scotland yesterday and the goals from Morata and Oihan Sancet make them win with the final scores 2-0 and during the match Spain has 75% ball possession which make they can able to pressing Scotland defensive lines and it make make Scotland playing under pressure and they were unable to develop their game and this result is open Spain opportunities to overtake first position from Scotland because currently Spain has 12 points from 5 matches and so far in group A there were no surprising result today because after Spain can collect 3 points then Norway too can gets easy win from weak team Cyprus and Haaland has scores 2 goals which bringing Norway to win with big scores 4-0

I was surprised that we won last night. I didn't think Turkey would win, I thought we would get 1 point at best.
Yesterday our guys played really well and won.
The new coach surprised me. I hope they will continue like this.
