Greece v Netherlands was a really unbelievable match. Netherlands were the way better side and you can understand that from even their xG - 2.05. They could have nearly got a draw here despite having a this high goal expectation. The life saving goal came in the stoppage time thanks to a penalty by van Dijk.

I mean Weghorst missed a penalty in the first half as well. If it ended up with a goal then I'm pretty sure Netherlands would get a more comfortable win by a bigger goal difference.

Spain got a win against Norway and this isn't a match that we expected to see just 1 goal with the big man on the mix, Erling Haaland. Is it that this player is becoming useless both to his team in England (Manchester City) and the Norway national side? I think CR7's fitness and strong stamina are something that we rarely find in other players his age. Well.. Norway do have Erling Håland and Martin Ødegaard. But what can they do, when the other players are not of very good quality? First of all, they were unfortunate enough to be placed in the same group as Spain and Scotland. And then they lost a few close matches, which they should have won otherwise. Anyway, for now the focus should shift towards qualifying for the FIFA World Cup in 2026. The expansion in number of participants haven't benefitted UEFA teams in a big way, but there is a chance that Norway could still qualify for the main event.
