I also have the same idea with you on Rashford's not having a good season. I just wanted to say that it wouldn't be a surprise for me to see him being included in the squad because of being experienced.

Yes there is a justifiable reason as to why Southgate did dropped Rashford, this season England had some great players Coming out of the ranks and giving Southgate a selection headache. So I wasn’t too surprised to see him missed the cut. But we need to ask ourselves, is this still a case of poor performance only that made Rashford to be dropped because if it is so  then the likes of Grealish too shouldn’t be there because stats wise Rashford had a better season than him. Rashford too me has never been appreciated much by Southgate because even last season when Rashford had one of the best seasons of his career he went to the World Cup to get just few minutes, so to me there is also personal preference attached to his exclusion

Turkey are having quite much problems on especially goalkeeper and forward topics. Therefore I also don't think that we will progress so much further in the tournament. I hope that we can make a surprise.

Turkey seriously have lost the pedigree they use to have in the past when they have five or more classy players that they can boost of turning the tie around for them. Currently I would say they have a squad that is young if managed well will definitely caused problems to other Nations. In the Goal keeper position I think the Manchester United second choice Bayindar will definitely slot in, although he hasn’t played any significant minutes this season, to me watching him in the only game he’s played for Manchester United this season I think he could do the job. As for the forwards, the likes of Arda Guler and Juventus Yildiz might look so young but they could be pivotal in this competition looking at how they have faired this season

Denmark and Serbia are not the easiest teams, but you are right that England shouldn't have too much trouble getting out of the group and into the play-off stages. For France, I also don’t see any big difficulties in the group, at least the Poland you mentioned is now too weak to cause problems for anyone in this group. I also doubt that the Netherlands or Austria will be able to beat France.

And group B is perhaps the most difficult, perhaps I would give preference to Spain, and second place is a difficult question, Italy and Croatia are both good teams, I cannot give preference to either of them. How quickly time passes, in a couple of days summer will begin and the final part of the Euro awaits us. For me, France are probably the favorites for this tournament, despite the fact that Germany will play at home.

France are likely to have a bigger challenge to face. Austria are in great shape lately. We have seen it even in recent friendlies. Poland are a mess but Netherlands are stronger. At least much stronger than England's opponents in Group C.

But even then, from what I can see, England and France are the favorites as of now, and Germany is at the 3rd place followed by Spain and Portugal.

I mean come on man... You can't say that France has easier group with Netherlands and Poland, while Spain and Italy and Croatia also in a group, while England's biggest rival in the group is serbia... That's not even a group for them, they are going to end up destroying that group and get three wins easily. What time? Time to do what? You think it's one easy task there? And even i it's, they cannot win it with Gareth Southgate. He doesn't have the capacity to lead them to glory, although ,I will love to see him prove me wrong.

Honestly young players will have time to play for the next ones, Mainoo for example can play for at least another 3-4 euro competitions when he grows older, this isn't a place to just show yourself and gain attention, you just call up only the best players and that is what they did.

The selection questions could be a little complicated I understand that and we could talk about something different in the end, I am not saying that we are going to end up with something bigger or different, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with a greater of value type of thing. The best thing to do in this case would be just focusing on England having a good 11, who is the backup doesn't really matter and won't be a big deal because last names won't get that much attention.

I am not a fan of Italy on international football - national team. I'm an England supporter. I still really remember the 2020 Euro final how Italy beat my support team in the final round.

If asked what about the Italian national team, I don't think I know much about their development. But if you look at the players, they cannot be considered bad this time even though they failed to play in the 2022 World Cup.
Maybe they can perform unexpectedly at this Euro, but Croatia and Spain are strong teams.

Italy might not be at their best but there's at least a 60% chance that they might it to the knockout stages ahead of Croatia or even the group favorite, Spain. These days, there's little affinity for favorite teams because they might even be the first set of teams go get eliminated from the competition just like in the world cup back in 2022. But of course, there's no way to say for sure until the tournament starts and results start getting it. Still 2 weeks to competition. Fingers crossed.

You did really good in the qualification stage.    Not losing any match and conceding only 5 goals are really positive things before the main tournament starts. Now in a group with Belgium, Slovakia and Ukraine, I believe your job won't be that easy. Belgium will be most likely to finish as the leader. I would expect Romania to play a close game against Slovakia too. But I think you have a higher chance to win against Ukraine.

I'm also wondering how things will go for Germany in the first match. They are coming with really talented young players. But I'm very curious about their consistency. I guess they would finish Group A as the leader firstly.

I also don't expect great things from the Italian national team in this euro, mainly because they are in a group that has very strong teams like Spain and Croatia, fortunately Italy was lucky to have the first game against Albania, which is a very strong team. weak, which will mean that in the first game Italy will win and have 3 points while Spain will play against Croatia in a game in which if one of the teams loses it would put Italy in an advantageous position, I believe that Italy can At least get through the group stage with some luck, but I highly doubt Italy will be able to win the Euro

The Spanish national team has many good players and when choosing players for the national team it probably becomes a big headache for the Spanish coach. Looking at the squad that will play in this Euro, I think that Spain can go far in this competition, it will all depend on how well they perform in the group stage when they play against good teams like Croatia and Italy, if they manage to do well in the group stage, so they may be able to go far in this competition

I think group stage will be very difficult for each team because they are quite competitive and focused. Maybe Germany has a chance to survive group stage this time because its group is not that strong and it has home advantage but Spain will be a huge challenge. Marcus Rashford should not make it to the Euro's if I was there as manager. He was nothing but absolute shiiit this season, he should focus on recovery process and set a goal of scoring more goals that he did in the last two seasons all together. Jordan Henderson included, we saw him move to Saudi Arabia and it didn't go well for him. Retuning back and we never heard anything good still. Jude Bellingham and Kobbie Mainoo can do the job in his absence.

I don't put my trust in Gareth Southgate, they have the media and everything ( Pr ) included let's see what they can do to win it this time.

Luke Shaw didn't play no gake after his return from long term Injury, I don't know why he'll still make it up. Obviously favoritism and it'll affect his decision making.

I don't also find Southgate's choices fully correct. Luke Shaw has been injured for months indeed. Why would you call him for national squad? 

Jadon Sancho hasn't been called at the same time. I don't think he is performing as bad as the time he was at Manchester United. He has started improving at Dortmund but interestingly not being called.

I think he did okay with not calling Rashford. He had a terrible season. If I were in Southgate's place I wouldn't also call him while there are attackers on the rise deserving the national duty more than him.
