I also finished answering the survey and mostly gave 4/5 on the first few questions. I got stuck on the last question since pretty much everything was great from start to finish.

It's great to see that you are planning to have more competitions like this in future with Sportsbet, so count me in when you come up with something new.

I also sent in the questionaire, but didn't give further suggestions as I already did on this thread, and much was discussed, so no need for further repetition.

I didn't really understand league comment, that would be so hard to do and requires people to pay fees every year, for me is fine, I feel problem for others who might not have earnings, but then again, if you don't have money to gamble, it's not for you, so I say GO FOR IT!

But i think one metric we have open to all its the thread itself. 34 pages so far , nearly 10.000 views, i think this its a really good one for SB and for the "tournament" , and for the organizers. Not so much threads have this ammount in a short period of time.

Didn't fully understood question about league system with relegations and promotion. Let's say we play in EPL and after season someone drop to Championship? If yes, I doubt that we would get enough users for it and probably many will lose interest if he would have to predict 2nd division games. Or after relegation you would continue in EPL, but you would have to predict together with players who are in 2nd tier?

In the league system all players would have the same questions and they would be either football based (but football in general, so a mix of all leagues, internationals, maybe even transfers and so on) or general sports based (so, some football, some tennis, some basketball, some formula etc). It would be a multi-year project that would have qualifying rounds and then there would be 20 players per league. If you are placed in the 2nd tier, your entry fee would be smaller but also the potential rewards would be smaller - and if you would be placed in top 5 in that league you'd be able to earn promotion to the 1st league, where the rewards are bigger.
It would be p2p for points, so you'd always play only against 1 player in that round - with a win rewarding you with 3 points and a draw with 1 point.

The league would have to be sponsored ofc, but we want to gauge your interest in it before trying to negotiate.

We purposely tried to make questions in a way that there isn't a market already availble at bookie pages. Obviously we couldn't avoid it all the times but we made effort to offer stuff you can't see or bet on in normal circumstances.

At the same time results need to be easy verifiable on official pages to avoid dodgy situations.

It is a small place to thread and suggestions for questions that fall into this category are actually the best. Thanks for the feedback.

I kind of agree with this. I made earlier suggestions about dynamic questions, that is not over as soon as the game starts and can be very different depending on outcome in game. I suggested something like, "how will Team B react to conceding first", or "substitution offence for defence, etc."

 But Trofo replied already that it needs to have a verifiable place to show they didn't change the answers also it would require them watching the game I guess or appointing someone so very difficult I agree to make some questions very "dynamic". So in the end, questions are up to organizers as they know best what is practical.

My suggestion for these "hard to verify" stuff is.

Either choose a tracker that shows what happened on timeline history, or set the rules for how things are decided (like when deciding offense sub for defense sub on official number swap), or just say, judges' decision is final and at own discretion (which is how all competitions do it anyway and always there are whiners lol).

Oficial trackers for some stuff simply do not exist. Our call and our decisions are final are something we wanted to avoid at all costs. The idea is that competition is absolutely fair to all participants and that that we as organizers have no power to influence the outcome.

When we are talking about serius rewards I belive it must be handled in this way. Oterwise we are just inviting problems in the future. Than add additional betting on outcomes in our competition and you enter a very grey area where a lot of entities could try to influence our decison.

Don't get me wrong, we wanted your input and we will take it into consideration. It is much easier for us to offer questions like that. I agree we could have added more card related questions for instance. That is a good market and I don't know any bookie that offers them for whole round of games.

It was our initial thought process that it is better to offer something new. It has added benefit of not having odds to check and therefore we get significantly better distribution of answers. People tend to pick lower odds when in doubt if there isn't a better award for higher odds.

As Trofo said - if you follow the bookies' picks, you will mostly have the same answers or you only have a 50-50 option (over/under).
We tried to make a mix - so that some questions are 50/50, some are 1/4, some are text only.

If we do create a league, we plan it to be knowledge based - so that people who follow sports more have a better chance of winning - something I don't feel is quite happening in standard Superbru pools that are more luck based. We can still do it in a fun way which we plan to do, so all kind of feedback is appreciated.

first of all, I have filled questionnaire with all 5's, you did great job, and 5 don't mean you can do it worse next time, it is a motivation to be better next time

regarding line-up question, except for H2H in final, answer distribution was either all get point, or none (or that is just my impression), and it is hard to get an edge on that even if you follow more (or that is my opinion) - it was one of my answer, less line-up questions

but, TBH, somehow I trust that you will do best to keep it interesting, it was your idea, you put it in a good manner, and you were good in first instance

Yup, agreed - if we will use them in the future, we will revise on how to use them. We weren't happy with the fact that most of the time it was either a point or not for all players, we tried modifying it but I wasn't still happy with how it went until the final.
Generally I feel these types of questions are good to have, especially in a h2h format - which the league system would have. Then again, we're here to make it great for you and not for us so if the majority of participants does not like them, we won't be forcing them just because we feel they are good to have.

Oh yes this is something I forgot. Can't use Telegram and my old forum notifier for Chrome doesn't work anymore so I had to read posts carefully to find the latest question or instructions. It wasn't SO hard but if the thread is super popular like premier league, very easy to miss information.

I think maybe 1st post and 2nd post have to be updated for easier access.

We would like to thank you once again for your participation and your feedback. We have closed the form, 21 people submitted answers and we feel it's more than enough.
I have hidden the names from the spreadsheet but the answers are now visible. The reason I hid the names is because there are questions about wagering preferences and I felt that it should be kept private.

To be honest, we're really happy with the results. The competition was rated with 4.9/5, and organization and rules combined with 4.78/5.
We're also happy to see that you'd like us to try and organize a league system, that one is a 100% for the league to happen.
