Not often, on some holidays, when you spend money just for fun and different strange things. But as i said, some moments i decided that it would be better to buy some junk food or ticket on football match but not lottery.

I have also tried lotteries many times in the past but luck is not on my side. After many attempts i decided that if I bet such amount on a gambling site, I would have some chance of winning, but not the lottery even many people have won the jackpot or the lottery. So investing my lottery money seems like just a waste of money to me. This is my personal opinion, many may disagree with my opinion. Yes mate, Gambling on sports betting has much higher chance of winning than the lottery. If one bets on football and takes a double chance, that would be lower odds and the higher probability of winning. But there is no such possibility in the lottery. I don't like lotteries and I will never do, because it's like publishing one's self through days of one's life, I would rather sit in front of my computer and play Slots or predict sports bet than spending a dime on lottery tickets.

Provably bettors doesn't count about difficulties or their chances is slim since their main concern for now is they get a chance to win on lottery specifically the powerball since if they look at their winning chances or percentages and get discourage then they won't win with that. People bet in lottery is trying their luck to win and if not life must go on, we see some people win on lottery and that's what they want to experience that's why although its impossible to win there are people take their chances to bet just to get thrilled while waiting for possible result.

Of course, this is just wonderful and completely unrealistic luck!  Naturally, all local newspapers should have reported about such a win.  Actually, you know about this.  Such cases, of course, happen and this impresses people more and more and essentially advertises the very holding of lotteries.

Yep, the double chance makes your chances about 66% but the same time you decreases your odds. The most times the double chance give you odd about your bet + 3-5%. It will be just spend of time. But in sport betting we can analyze the match and choose the winner. And in the lottery we have only luck. I don`t believe in luck

We cant really deny that having more tickets does give out that more chances of winning but it would really be still that <1% Unless if you have decided to buy up all the possible combinations then its up to you but

Well you do got a point because those jackpot prizes wont really be bloating just like that or becomes big if there were no bettors. If those numbers did increase then it do really signifies that there are really

I completely understand why you're mad. This game is fixed in some ways, and the chances are way too small. Regarding the "second place" prizes, I have to agree with what you said. Do you not find it almost funny? It doesn't make much sense when you think about how rare it is to win and what you get in return. Still, I buy tickets with that extra change sometimes, and you might too. Just for that small chance. What makes sense doesn't matter, does it? It's about that little bit of hope, that dream of not having to worry about money. It's about getting away from trouble and the everyday, even if it's just for a night's sleep. There are even people or bettors who do really find up some groups to make some group buys on which they are really that increasing their odds on having that kind of scheme or set up on which its not really that something new but somewhat a very risky thing specially on the time that your group would be able to make some hit then i cant really just imagine on how those people would really be dividing those winnings.

It's true, the chances of ever winning the lottery are astonishingly small and lottery companies are increasingly making it harder to win by making little mathematical tweaks that make it magnitudes of difficulty harder. It annoys me when the "second place" prizes are also ridiculously small when they can be pretty similar in difficulty to win on as well. However, as you've stated, whenever I buy a lottery ticket it is to go to bed and dream of the tiniest possibility of waking up to complete financial freedom. The possibilities that winning millions would open up in your life are endless and there are very few similar shortcuts to wealth, so for a few dollars every so often it is nice to think of winning so big.

This is interesting! Can you, please, explain more how can lottery companies make the chance of winning smaller? I don't know which lottery game you are talking about exactly but I believe they all have the same concept. This is why I can't understands how this can be done!
Also, regarding the prize for the second place, as far as I know the odds of winning the second place are way higher than hitting the jackpot and winning the first place. So, it's normal if the prize is smaller, or am I missing something?
