Rethinking Digital CurrencyBitcoin, the world’s first decentralized digital currency, was launched in 2009. I don't think you guys are understanding what the devs are getting at...
'appealing to the global mass' is not 'appealing to the global mass of bitcointalk.org members'
All this anon, untraceable transactions, POD, with only appeal to the latter. Go ask your neighbor if he would invest in a cryptocurrency with those features. He'll say "crypto..what?"
Assume you have no knowledge of bitcoin or cryptocurrency whatsoever. Somebody tells you about bitcoin. Other than the fact "It might be worth a lot more one day" what reason would you have to buy bitcoin? You can use paypal to order just about everything and every fee for your purchases are charged to the seller. Why should you use bitcoin? Because it's supposely untracable? That sounds illegal. How can you even get bitcoin? What, there is no official seller of bitcoin? I have to buy from a sellers personal stash? That sounds sketchy. If there's no chargeback how is it safe? How won't I get scammed?
Whenever you talk about bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general to people who know nothing about it, these are the kind of thoughts that they are thinking. What if it sounded totally safe and easy to buy/sell PND and have an incentive to use it over paypal or normal money? If we can eliminate these barriers a whole new audience is avaliable. This size of this audience will extend past the audience this website has and we will have more potential buyers than if we stuck to targeting the people of this website.

I know Panda is striving to me more than just an investors' coin but the higher the price the more can be done with the Community Chest in terms of bounties, etc. to create world class, cutting edge services, charity, etc. I really hope August 30th isn't just a silly dice game, android wallet or a wallet with a block explorer and a picture of a camel (sorry, I mean a Panda, bad Silkcoin memories ... ).

I got myself a nice extra bag in the region of 40/55 liteoshi (such a shame I didnt have any low buyorders at that time of dumping) Anyway... The community is strong! Hold your PND!   |

I really think its a nice accomplishment off us all.... we are back at 100 liteoshi region! Yes it took us a month... but its been a steady rise since then... And the news isnt even out yet... I feel btc market activity coming up within a week...And too the people who got them for sale this cheap.... If you care about your pnd... remove your sell orders  |
