Why do they not follow the same rules at Bitmine.ch?
Q: I changed my mind, can I request a refund for my order?
A: YES, if your order is in the “Reservation queue” and you didn’t pay for it yet, you can cancel your order at any time. If you opted for the “Preorder queue” and already paid for your order, you can cancel it only if we are too late in shipping according to our Customer Protection Plan.
Because the money is spent. i'm sorry does yourpaltoots work for AMT_miner? i'm confuse or did i miss something Yes you did. A couple of guys received the crap which is not/half working. One of them had tremendous privilege to get from Zipkin hands in person they begun to lick Zipkin ass in hope for the good. Buying psu's is not helping them so this is the only option left. However poserkoto Zipkin just does not give a shit

I am not sure why AMT_miners comes and post here, and does not answer my question which I asked very politely.
Because by not answering, they can string you along for longer. AMT_Josh learned from the best (BFL_Josh) in how to string people along month, after month, after month. With luck your issue will be resolved by the end of the year.

You keep yelling refund. Where do you think the refund money will come from? If we get these miners working then everybody wins including all of the customers on these boards who have ordered. Now, you can either be part of the solution or continue to be part of the problem.

Generally speaking the whole pre-order thing is a mess. Also noticing that ALL of the US Miner companies are the ones getting or under threat for being sued....but also have the shitty practices that are getting them into this mess in the first place.
it all starts with the US shipping it's manufacturing jobs to China. so now, China has the production facilities for this stuff, and we sit here at their mercy. Chinese businessmen seem a lot more in tune with invsting in new technology, so the chinese asic companies get the financial backing up front, and don't have to resort to the pre-order model like the US companies. the new reality is the US falling far behind, and we'll all be speaking mandarin in the near future. lol pretty bleak, eh? its our own doing. the greed of the US business model is coming back to fuck us.

@AMT_miner technical question, what should be the baseline setting to run cgminer at? cgminer --lowmem --bitmine-a1-options 16000:800000:8000 this is the nominal setting. I presume this is the mode it is supposed to hash at? Also for the Rosewill Hercules 1600W PSU you recommended what is the recommended hookup for those? I want to make sure this is all correct and according to your spec before moving forward. Ideally I would like to be able too get these working according to your recommendation. I will reach out be email as well to get the correct info. Thanks

I believe one would have to look at the programming to see if such is the case. Hope that helps, all. The driver is open source and so is cgminer so I could take a look at that code. Thanks for the info. Gives me a starting point until I get a reply. I already emailed asking about what I can do to get this working. The LEPA was inconsistent on both machines. I know I have the juice on the circuits to run these things.

Ok I did some looking at the files. AMT has its own folder in the /mineros. They are a bit different than the defaults bitmine uses. I will post more later. I am still looking at it all. And for the record looking not modifying anything.

That's where it should be. Josh mentioned why he did such, but I didn't retain the info for I was very tired, coupled with not being versed in such, nor cared, for my intent was to sell it, not mine with it like I convinced Josh I would. Considering the circumstances, he seem sincere with his efforts at the time. FYI, FWIW, I promise to not trash talk on this thread, saving anything that needs to posted elsewhere. Ergo, in help mode otherwise opieum will kick my ass. Nothing at you man. You posted info people could use and it was an opinion. My issue was with one person who posted NOTHING of use. Just basically loled at our circumstances. Anyway I am just moving on. Got better things to do than waste time with him. But here are the settings I found in the AMT folder. /mineros/AMT/a1.mode.0 16000:750000:2000 (powersave mode) /mineros/AMT/a1.mode.1 16000:800000:4000 (nominal?) /mineros/AMT/a1.mode.2 16000:750000:4000 (turbo?) The settings are a bit weird. But these are the 3 settings. Not sure which is which. Only one I am sure of is powersave. I would guess a1.mode.2 is nominal but maybe someone from AMT can confirm that. I just want to understand what I am doing here to avoid frying hardware. Plus its useful for anyone else using bitmines settings. For those running cgminer from an ssh console instead of web interface. Anyway I might have it sorted out. Hopefully.

I'd say PM ISAWHIM about the settings. He is/was part of the A1 chip dev thread and should know or point ya to someone from there who does... On solo mining: DL the full Bitcoin core client onto a small pc with a lot of storage (currently the blockchain db is just under 19GB) and run it in server mode. Point the miner at the PC's ip address and hash away. Oh, there is a bootstrap file of the blockchain current up to Jan of this year last I looked that reduces the time to get the whole blockchain to 'only' about a day or 2. The feed is purposely throttled to keep you bandwidth usage very low.

I know whatcha mean. The lil Atom PC I have for my TV mmedia is the the BTC core host (only takes 20 w) with a 60gb ssd in it. Shocked the hell otta me to see that massive chunk taken! Found out you can relocate the db so moved it to my 12TB NAS bucket. Works perfect.

everyday the dont reply to me in any form i'm just gonna keep filing complaints already filed with ic3 and bbb
continuing to file complaints with the same agency is essentially the same as spamming Where's my refund 100 times on a site. You're complaint is in a file and it will be worked when it is gotten to. Until then creating needles extra paperwork for the agencies in question isn't going gain you any friends in that line of work. You're best bet since you are endlessly impatient. Is to launch your own specific lawsuit. That way you don't have to wait on the class action. And you don't have to wait for AMT to give you the refund that I'm pretty sure they aren't going to send you. You obviously can't wait for your complaint to be recognized by the agencies you've contacted. no i didnt file with the same agency i'm just going down the list on amt client site that one of the forum member made Ah my mistake. I miss understood. I just filed all of mine the same day when I filed.

Remember doa hardware can not be fixed with software. However you can kill burn out functional hardware with software.
ironically loshia i fixed my doa hardware with software that changed the hardwares settings. doa being not mining but cgminer -DT showed the board there.

And how this affects your POOL graph?
right loshia im notrmaly a cool guy. FUCK THE POOL GRAPH F?UCK IT TO HELL one card mined at 0ghs!!!! ZERO, NADA, ZILCH, FUCK ALL i used the "software" changed a few settings of the card and bingo card pulls 200ghs+/- pool and amt screen. that was my point. a dead board that wouldnt mine was revived!!!!! whats hard to comprehend? now if it was doa in the sense its missing chips or generally fucked then yes software will not fix that. but if it shows up whaen you type cgminer -DTas 5x a1 chip chains detected then you may be able to tweak it to revive the board if you have problems with your hardware i.e one/two or more boards not mining throuh the amt splash web gui thing do the following log into your miner via putty or an hdmi cable direct into the pi. much easier through the putty method as you can scroll then type killall cgminer it may or may not display something, if not it killed it, if it says no process it was already dead next type cgminer -DT exactly as typed it will display a load of info then say no pool details specified it will display something like a1 chip chain detected 8 chips. then loads of stuff and at the end of each chains info will say something like 8 chips detected 256 actice cores, or less as 256 is the max cores this should repeat as many times as you have boards. i believe the first set of info is the furthest board from the ribon working left to right.. now if it saye a1 chip detected no a1 chip a1 chip detected no a1 chip a1 chip detected and you have 3 boards happy days all 3 show if on the other hand you have 5 boards and get the no a1 chip chain detected your board is not responding if thats the case i dont think it can be fixed. but if it say a1 chip chain detected and at the lower section says 8 chips detected less than 250 cores then its not functioning correctly but may be able to be fixed. it will also output each chip per card so something like chip1 32 cores chip2 32 and so on. if a chip fails cores it will say weak chip detected 10 cores threshold 32 or something very similar i wish i had screen shots to hand but as my miner is at another persons house its hard to get.

Yeah it is Hard but yes it is a known issue with chips they need power So at the end if it lasts for 24 hours and you are so kind to share the pool graph i will be thankful otherwise it doesn't count As i said we have only one dude who got 100% working equipment it is mellbro if i recall correctly you do have one of his boards right? me and mellorbo own the same miner just split the cost 50/50 and take 50/50 minus power costs each. i posted the 24hr pool graph and the weeks pool graph earlier in the week lol sorry if i sound like i am having a major go at you but the pool graph is not the b-all and end all of this setup. its kinda irrelevant as amt screen gives a good enough representation of speeds.
