Is the exchange running a single ETH node?
I guess there should be some redundancy system here in order to account for different mishaps that could happen.
I ma not sure about the cost of running an eth node, but i guess it is far below of the cost of having to suspend your service for a few hours.
These are probably questions for someone from eXch.
I got the impression that they running their own node for each coin, among other things, one of the reasons why they don't have a large number of listed coins.
Also, they once talked about the implementation of Tron, as far as I understood, they decided on it for a long time because it also requires a new node, wallet... But these can only be guesses
When they relaunched the platform, they declared that all nodes and wallets belonged to them
