I remember when I first learned about these assets (in context of NXT) a while ago, I thought "this is the way Karmashares should work". It has almost all the features Karmashares should have had, except for the "problem" that it is tied to another currency instead of actual Karma, which is ... a not insignificant issue.
Never heard of NHZ before and "nhzKARM Asset-ID#:14027245553053047036" isn't exactly a catchy name. But since I apparently am due for some "free" assets due to my donations, I'll take that offer and see how it works out. It is an interesting idea for sure, though I'm not sure about all of the implications it might carry going forward.
With Karmashares there was an initially clearly defined strategy, with plans laid out for several projects, a company to back it up etc. - seemed like a great idea at the time. Right now for this we've pretty much only got your word and from the reactions in this thread I guess the rest of the team were not even involved up to this point?
If I had to invest any actual new money into this I'd like a bit more transparency and clarification before going ahead and buy into this. What exactly do I buy into with this asset? Is this supposed to be Karmashares 2.0 without an actual company? Or more or less just a different way to gather funds for development instead of donations? What is the IPO money going to be used for, who else is involved, what projects are planned, how are the funds going to be managed - that sort of stuff.

As written on the thread for nhzKARM, every business venture has the risk of loss. I wont pretend that this project is guaranteed with success. Ponzi? Please see ponzi's characteristics and decide for yourself if this fit the bill.
NHZ assets are steps forward in applying the wonderful technological advancement made possible by the creation of the "blockchain", a public ledger. We are just trying to harness that

Was there a possibility of a scam? YES, although we are not scammed, in the sense that the coins we put in were returned.

Other profit generating project will also be sought in the future, such as but not limited to online selling of tangible products. 100% profits made through these ventures will be distributed to nhzKARM asset holders, according to the percentage of the asset they have, against the total number of nhzKARM assets."
The exact percentages of the fund that will be invested in these various ventures will be determined later when the first week of IPO is finished.
Some will be put in a longer more stable form of investments, though they may make smaller gains but at least they are stable.
Some will be used for trading
Some will be used for mining (IF AND WHEN we can be sure this is not a losing option)
Some will be used for staking, safest but very small gains.
Exact details on where, when and how much will be provided on the thread of nhzKARM.
No one should rush into it nor out of it. Just do your due diligence, you can wait on how things go forward, anyway you can get in and out of this anytime, by purchasing or selling your assets to the prevailing market offers.
Compare, research and decide. I wont hold it against you, if you decide not to get involved.
