I have 5 different addresses. By coin pile I assume you are referring to the number in parenthesis to the left of the amount while in the coin control window? so for the 5 addresses I have 17,8,6,3,3 coin piles.
Is that enough to cause a cpu issue?

tired to see the low price of diamond i see it as chances for new investors to join in the price wont be long at this level i earn this days like 150 DMD with http://multipool.bit.diamonds/i love low market prices but if DMD multipool hashrate increase DMD market prices react and go upwards that the reson use multipool now or buy DMD direct at exchange now is a clever move i learned that the time to invest is always when the price is low and be real it cant go much lower so for what u wana with investment? regarding mintpal voting yes seems that page is set online DMD Diamond reach far beyond our goal we aimed to reach rank 100 until September and we endet at 89! great job by everyone. what we can see is that the DMD community is not the biggest or talkactive one (beside me ) but u are dedicated loyal and focused on the longterm goal we all share a vision and we can guarantee the DMD Diamond Foundation work to make it become true

Many people do not satisfied with the fact that the government now get up to around the world. But it's all due to the fact that the oligarchs and bankers have unlimited power over the common people. They impose their own rules and print their own currency in an amount and for as long as they want. Ukraine is now at war with itself. More precisely it is a war of the oligarchs with with their own people. This is very bad for everyone. That is why the future is a crypto currency. It will allow people to control their own lives and the bankers will not be able to take away from the people of their savings. And now, it occurs constantly. All savings in paper currency, may at any time be impaired. Diamond ideal as crypto currency to accumulate their wealth.

Hashrate at http://multipool.bit.diamonds/ increase each day!
if u are not a owner of asic or gpu mining devices but u still interested to earn a share of DMD Multipool payouts then send me a PM we are in preparation to launch a limited (time to join in and max amount of money is limited) beta investment round (i will only accept people i trust and which trust me too) for a "DMD Diamond Cloudmining Investment Product"
results and statistiks created in this round will be the base of promotion material of a follow up DMD Cloudmining Product which then will be available to everyone
the most interesting part of the package will be only 70% of earning will be converted into DMD and split between investors 30% will be used to increase hashrate over time.
so its a one time investment but a endless source of DMD payouts for ur investment.

The issue of high CPU usage has been explained already by danbi. Not sure we can do anything more than that right now. Wallet 2.0.3.2 is being tested at the moment. About hight CPU usage.
I am currently hacking the next wallet version, with the specific focus to cure the dreaded block index corruption issue (already found out the reason). However, during testing and some measurements, it seems the wallet is doing some 12 calculations of the block hash for each block it receives from the network (this, considering 2.0.3.1 already has eliminated some of these!). These hash calculations are always expensive.
In minting mode, the wallet would periodically traverse over the list of coin 'piles' it has, as well as all the addresses it has in the wallet. As it turns out, the Bitcoin design and therefore inherited by almost all other coins is to create a new address for the 'change' (the remainder, when you send coins). This is done to 'guarantee' anonymity, although what is achieved is questionable, because anyone with the full block chain can track this, of course. The sad side effect is your wallet gets bloated more and more, as you send out coins.
So if you have had many outgoing transactions, you will have lots of very small coin piles and (unfortunately) many addresses (public/private key pairs) in the wallets, most of which would have zero balance. In Diamond, PoS would naturally work to group those small coin piles (including dust) into larger piles, but unfortunately, it will not eliminate the addresses..
Some of the next Diamond wallets will have a feature to handle that, if the uses so wishes. That will help greatly busy wallets, such as pools and exchanges. In mean time, you could help yourself -- for new transactions only -- by utilizing the 'change address' feature of Coin Control -- when you send out Diamonds.
What all this means in essence is, that you will get much better performance, if you separate your 'savings' and 'spending' wallets. Only send coins to the 'savings' wallet and let it mint, and do not send out coins out of it -- if you do, use Coin Control to direct the change to your own address.
If you already suffer from too much bloat, about the only possible workaround is this:
of course, make a backup of your wallet.dat first check to see which addresses have coins with listaddressgroupings dump the private keys (with dumpprivkey) for each address which you have given out to others to send you coins AND all addresses you identified have coins in the previous step. stop the wallet move the old wallet.dat out of the way start the wallet import all the private keys with importprivkey (this will rescan the block chain for each one)
enjoy your faster wallet.
On the high CPU usage again.
Normally, without any special configuration, the wallet will try to participate as much as possible in the Diamond network. This is of course good thing and is encouraged.
However, combined with the conditions described in my previous post, this might further increase the CPU load.
Consider this: the wallet has by default limit of 125 connections to peers. When a peer sends you a new block, you do some 12 hashes of it in various check routines (at the moment, working on it). It is very much possible that multiple peers will send you the same block at about the same time -- you will ignore all but the first, but will do the processing nevertheless. In addition, when a peer asks you for blocks to sync (any wallet will ask any and all other wallets it is connected with about blocks it doesn't yet have) you are sending them streams of 500 blocks at a time. You do some processing around selecting those blocks and transmitting them. There may be several peers asking for blocks as the same time.
If you would like to ultimately reduce your CPU usage while minting, you can restrict your participation in the network topology. This topic is sufficiently discussed in the thread, but in short, for least load, you should have
connect=somereliablenode connect=someothernode listen=0 noirc=1
If you look back in the thread, this was a suggested configuration for nodes that generate blocks, like when you mint.
If on the other hand, you don't mind the CPU load, you are welcome to let your node fully participate in the network.

I understand that; his config file is exemplary. I've never experienced such high CPU usage either, so not sure what might be causing this.

info: dmd multipool frontend is on maintainance mining is not affected
I think it could be helpful to include this table on the example screen.. What is the recommended difficulty for my miner? One thing to remember is that difficulty doesn't affect earnings. It only affects variance and bandwidth usage. Higher difficulties will result in lower bandwidth but higher variance (opposite for lower difficulties). You can set the difficulty of your miner by setting your password to one of the following: Miner Speed Scrypt Password Scrypt-N Password X11 Password X13 Password 0MHs - 1MHs d=256 d=128 d=0.01 d=0.01 1MHs - 2MHs d=512 d=256 d=0.02 d=0.02 2MHs - 4MHs d=1024 d=512 d=0.04 d=0.04 4MHs - 8MHs d=2048 d=1024 d=0.08 d=0.08 8MHs - 16MHs d=4096 d=2048 d=0.16 d=0.16 16MHs - 32MHs d=8192 d=4096 d=0.32 d=0.32 32MHs - 64MHs d=16384 d=8192 d=0.64 d=0.64 64MHs - 128MHs d=32768 d=16384 d=1.28 d=1.28 ..you use the difficulty setting ie "d=0.02" as your password instead of "x".
