Ola guys!

Nobody wants this beauty?
Most of my Monero artworks I sold already, but this one...
What ,Monero is dead!
No more Monero fans!

I made this unique and original artwork last year.
-MONERO PEAKS-is wooden wall mounted sculpture
The original price was 800 USD.

Now it is on fantastic discount.

I am cleaning my atelier, and work on new stuff, and I would like to remove this item to have more space in atelier.

If there is any Monero fans outthere still, just name your price ,gave me some offer, maybe we can make a deal.

Peace!

Accept Monero,of course!

Will there be a Super Bowl betting pool like last year?

I'm down. Anyone else up for it? 1 XMR buy in?

You know I am Cheesy

Whoever wants to set up something can, if I get a break from work I’ll create a thread for it.  Just to clarify... we are talking about squares, right?

It would be nice to see if someone do this it will help the people to let in with comfort. I also would like to participate in it when it will be up for this. That kind of efforts always bring good result to build a more supportive community.

I do want it, but I'll have to wait a little bit more, until Monero gets back on track and reaches, at very least 500$...
I'm sure you'll find better buyers and probably you can do another when the crypto winter ends Wink

Oh yeah the squares thing. Maybe like 0.05 per square then? Winner would get 5 XMR? That's correct?

That's right... honestly I don't even think .1 xmr/square is that unreasonable. That's like $5 a square. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can copy and paste last year's square table and have a thread up by at least tomorrow.  If someone else feels froggy to go ahead and create something of the sort that's totally cool too Cool

I feel like maybe I will have different luck if I don't host something this year, haha.

Edit: alright I created it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5103532.msg49476986#msg49476986  Cool

the blockchain should be protected by an artificial intellect. Are you thinking about the ASIC problem? Maybe you should protect yourself from corporations? need a blockchain with protection from mining plants and ASIC.

it may be necessary to add 3D elements to the algorithm, because FPGA and ASIK cannot be used in 3D games for computers, maybe it is worth using this element for protection? Undecided

a graphic element can transfer more information, you may need to make a graphic blockchain that will have ASIC stability, and at the same time the block will be able to accommodate much more transactions, which will make transactions infinitely cheap and fast

WTF SHIT IN FURTHER PROGRESS

https://miningpoolstats.stream/monero

Total  Hashrate 621 MH/s, Known Pools 327 MH/s, Unknown 621 - 327 = 294 = 90% of Known Pools or 47% of Total (4% till probable 51% attack).

Let's implement CryptonightR and hard-fork immediately?
https://github.com/SChernykh/CryptonightR/

Price dropped to $43
https://www.monero.how

Honest miners are becoming bankrupts right now.

---

Exactly Year ago - ASICs were on the scene:
total hashrate was ~ 750 MH/s (250 Mh/s from ASICs or ~33% of Total hashrate)
https://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/monero-hashrate.html#1y
price was ~$300

@florida.haunted: don't freak out dude, Monero had ASICs before. They were told to fork off, and they did. Smiley
Monero survived.
Now, if they're back, they will receive the same message. And again. And again. Until they give up, or they run out of money to develop and run this much hashing power.

Polynomial algo, we were discussing that when we were talking about QC resistance.

Can we imagine an algo effective on both CPU and GPU, not effective on both FPGA/ASICs, such as it relies on some real-world data that can't be predicted?

if no, can we just fork 4 times a year, not 2?

BRAKING NEWS
https://miningpoolstats.stream/monero

Total 662 MH/s Known Pools 320 MH/s, Unknown = 342 vs 320 Known.

> 51% UNKNOWN HASHRATE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER

MONERO CORE DEVS WHERE ARE YOU?! YOU DID NOT SAY A WORD ON THIS.

(previous year ASIC hashrate was distributed among known pools mostly so we did not observe 51% unknown hashrate. and price was ~$300-400 instead of $43 now)

The point is to produce an algo that asics cannot easily reproduce with small footprint chips and extensible chips are tougher to create as well as copywrite protected. I would imagine that those extensions are also not in the hybrid fpgas and therefore would not produce the exponential rate increase we see with them like we do now with the bottlenecks offloaded to the soc.
