as many as possible, numerous financial experts predict that the bitcoin price will rise significantly in the nearest future. I truly believe that bitcoin is among the best investment opportunities currently available.

This is interesting. If you can get a lot of income on BTC you can retire early and enjoy life early.
Just invest what do you think you can afford to lose since nothing is sure in the future.

Risk/reward is currently better in bitcoin than in stocks, bonds, commodities and houses. What else is there out there to invest in?

Literally? With real estate comes with land. There is also Development and Technologies.

And investing in banks at most interest rate is usually a bad choice, since you you would probably lose more with the inflation than you would gain in "interest".

Risk/reward ratio can not be calculated, not even after the fact. You have to assess the possible reward outcomes, and assess the risk of each, yourself.

Do you think real estate prices are static? See here:

I do not think they are static at all. They tend to go way up in high traffic areas, like where i live. They have kept going on steadily for the past 20 years. Up enough to be huge investment return. This is not true everywhere. Or always.

Anyhow i was just merely adding it as an option for investing. Proper investment in critical populated area is probably a safer investment than BTC. But BTC has much more potential, imo. If you rent your real estate, it's a bit like mining Bitcoin, too. But the rent value probably wont go up or down much, unlike* Bitcoin!

Has anyone found an exact number of the bitcoins, for this time i think it is a huge investment to invest in bitcoin and to think that you will be retire fast.
I think the more important thing is a sober estimate of what percentage of your savings you can/should put into this. Make a clear decision about that and don't let the price affect you too much.

I believe that with 500 bitcoins is possible to stay quiet , although at the time about 150k dollars surely this value will win about 50 % in the coming years and can anticipate what to wait 20 years for such a feat , and may be only 2 or 5 or 10 years , would not be optimal to anticipate your retirement ?

Yes, I agree. You should also have a fair distribution in mind. In the long run the rich people shouldn't have more than 50 bitcoin per person. Institutions maybe up to 1000.

But that is the point when human greed comes into play, and you can't blame anyone who tries to pile up as much as he can while a full bitcoin is still affordable - even for the poor.

Fuck your wealth redistribution, every single market looks like 60% held by top 5%, and rest 40% held by 95%.

Its always like that, because the early folks are risk takers, and their risk taking is rewarded by alot of share %.

Your fucking communist idea to redistribute the stuff will descourage people taking risks, and everyone will become a crybaby 40 year olds in diapers.

Well you cant complain at the guy since we see our banks more of a non true capitalistic form.

Back in 2008 if true capitalism worked, it means we actually let them fail with no bail out. We have more of a socialism where we dont let it fail at all.

500 bitcoins seems pretty comfortable if the value keeps rising and it just goes over beyond what we hope to see.

although the waiting process seems a bit daunting for most, which id probably die in 20 years then it to see it anywhere.

That's hell of alot of money to gamble on BTC's future value :S

Investing all that money in a proper venture, BTC-related if need be, sound like a much better way of securing one's future...

One would assume that this bitcoin would be coming from early adopters paid in a cheap price.

Or ran a business on the side that accepted bitcoin and that indiviual sold and bought bitcoin also at the same time to accumlate that much..

Hmm well i understand if you had BTC from 2009.

This topic just feel more like "How many BTC should i go acquire to be able to retire."

And remain the fact if you cashed out now you'd have 150k... and for all you know, BTC could die out since its lacking the performance and features of a rapid/popular payment processor.

Nope. If you had 200k worth of bitcoins, you'd lose it all in a month (I'm being extremely generous).

Yeah, 500 bitcoins is a very good amount to be in a wallet at the retirement age, As we believe that the value of bitcoins in the next 20 years would be something unimaginable and it would pay us the best returns of the investment that we have made at present.
