i just made a test too.

After booting the Rasberry, the Grid Numbering has been shuffled and so the stored frequencies don't match to the grids anymore.
Looks like the ttyACM Numbers are not bound to the serialnumber of the grid.

screen -r on the console also shows me another order of the grids, then minera does
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Yeah, for a while now I've been asking for the feature of being able to set the frequencies by serial number, not dev node. But I don't think Sandor111 has added that yet.

It's really the only way to do this reliably though. It's too hard otherwise to match the dev node  to the right frequency set.

Wow, this is amazing. Very stable, getting better results than with hashra or scripta. I'm going to donate! Smiley

Sounds similar to my issue with the blades.. I issue  freq settings but only one chip per in each array use that speed. the others all fall to the default 600. i was seeing it when running directly from command lien so I dont think its related to Minera.

Hello guys,
I just pushed the 0.1.8c this release has:

* bug fix on "saved frequencies" in guided settings (you couldn't disable the --freq option before so that should be the problem, please try if it works now, you should select "default" in Start Frequency option if you wanna use your saved frequencies)
* bug fix on Device Tree rendering when you leave the Minera tab (now when you re-focus the tab the boxes are refreshed so you don't see wrong stuff)
* sortable pool settings, now you can drag&drop your pools to change the priority (only on settings page and not "on the fly" start/stop needed but you don't need to rewrite everything)
* for who had problem with devices detection on boot (Ubuntu) I just added a "sleep 5" in rc.local file for everybody so Ubuntu should have the time to detect the devices before starting minerd. Please if someone with Ubuntu can try if 5 seconds are enough it will be much appreciate. YOU MUST SAVE YOUR SETTINGS to apply the "sleep 5" command to rc.local.

I tried Firefox and I can reproduce the problem with raphael.js, it's weird and I don't know if there always have been or what.

LexMine are you sure there wasn't this issue before 0.1.8a/b? Did you always use Firefox with Minera? Can you remember with what version do you start using Minera? This could help me find the problem.

Thanks

Things take their Time to be developed. The Guys already did great work. I'm working as php developer and realy would like to Joint this Team but i think my coding style is to diffrent and i'm not firm with github.

I tried Minera for the First Time yesterday and started with 0.1.8. i played arround with it for two or three hours and then updated it to 0.1.8a. Later 0.1.8b came out and i updated again. I didn't have this problem at the begining. So at first i  thought, it could be the new Version. Now i'm thinking about another possibility. At the start i worked with only one or two grids for testing. After testing i made the desicion to use it and added the first Ten grids. Maybe this is the Point. It always happend, when the dashboard refreshes and the Grid List is loaded. Today i added another Grid, a 1200 MHz 510 khash tuned for testing. The Problem started to get bigger from this Point on. I wasn't able to use firefox anymore. So i think it could be the amount of grids and that means, that the Funktion that loads the List, could be the Problem. Is Raphael.min.js Part of this?

There isn't the minerd version, you should ssh into Minera and do ./minerd -V on minera-bin directory to check it by now.

But we could kindly ask Sandor if he can add the minerd version to the stats so I can get it displayed on Minera Smiley

Wow! That's great news Sandor111!

So was this change just committed? If so I'll do a pull and rebuild.

I guess the syntax is indicated in the new help? Presumably I can set the frequency by serial number in a config file, like other options?

I'll play with it on my test rig. Looking forward to moving completely to cpuminer and Minera on my main rig.

In --gc3355-freq: instead of the device node path, you can set the serial. Yes this is also for the config. The rest is unchanged.

So that begs the question, Michelem, does your update today contain the latest commit from Sandor?

No, I'm just compiling it, some tests and I will push it asap.

PS
usually when I update the binary version I add a comment note in the commit so you can know it, just look here: https://github.com/michelem09/minera/commits/master

Hands down the best miner out for gridseeds is Sandor's cpuminer and best front end is this Minera.

Thanks for the updates!!
