Silkcoin is now 3rd highest volume on BitTrex... just after Cloak and VRC which are riding on launch hype. SC has been around for a month.

@ Current price of around 3000-3500 sat, SC is still heavily undervalued... Just compare it to other coins with similar total supply and price. Some don't even have logos or websites and people are blindingly investing in those.

Read the OP again and tell me why you think this coin won't be at least 10k once we are on MintPal? 3000-3500 sat is a bargain right now! I'm buying more....

What is Operation Shock & Awe?

Operation Shock & Awe is the internal name for a social initiative spearheaded through a series of giveaways from various outlets. more nodes are coming in the future , but most are sync'd with those 2

are your syncing? ( hover over the tick) or is it stuck/ not syncing at all? when you hover the tick?

It may take some time .. or delete everything EXCEPT wallet.dat in roaming folder and start again.

i want to buy SC because I think it's a quality coin with a big pump in front of it. I'm waiting for the pow period where 15m new coins will need to be absorbed over 5 days. I'm bewildered by the pump today, why would people buy right now? just really confusing to me. No coin has ever risen during a short intense pow period, they struggle to maintain a stable price between big miner dumps. Why are buyers ignoring this? If I need to buy at 4k fine, but I don't want to see 2k in 2 days...

I think people are buying with the thought that they wont be able to mine like it was in the first POW
I was getting 1000silk a day on first POW  this one i will be lucky to get 100 silk a day.  Everyone is going to rent RIGs and make it super hard to mine.  Just my thoughts on the pump.

The mining competition for SC is going to be fierce and I wouldn't count on dumpage to get cheap coins. I'm buying SC now and buying my other half towards the end of POW.

well...it seems it s not connecting at all,
mean 0 active connections to the Silkcoin network.
I reinstalled the wallet keeping the wallet.dat
I try to reboot to check the last thing...but I tried all my other wallets...and they re running smoothly.

If it still does not connect it may have something to do with your connection/firewall blocking the used port. In the history of SC we got only one other guy that had problems to sync and he synced pretty fast after adding nodes.
