What pool is GM mining on, does anybody knows this?

Thanks!

From their FAQ found on their website.

We do not publish a list of pools we are using. Our main criteria for a good pool are: reliability, fee structure and reject rate. Going forward we will solo-mine a few coins (and pass the fee savings to our users!).

Our internal policy is: "be a good crypto citizen". This means, that we will at least use two different pools (in some cases we use up to four) for each coin. This is to preserve the decentralized nature of the crypto networks! If we become aware that a pool is getting close to 50% share, we will switch away from it and use a backup instead.

Genesis mining is good, but it's just hard to ROI with cloud mining.

But you can't call them scammers. They do pay, and it's rather a good amount. You can easily reach ROI with one of them lifetime contract. Yeah the payments are a bit low (just a bit) but they do pay. And for lifetime normally ^^

I already reached ROI with them. Never missed a single payment.

Hey miners,

2015 is almost over but we have yet some things to reveal...

We are proud to finally announce Ethereum Cloud Mining!

Due to our large scale GPU mining activities we are excited to offer significant parts of our farms for Ethereum mining in the cloud. Users can benefit from our economy of scale and our geothermal powered and optimized GPU mining rigs in Iceland. We are bullish on Ethereum and look forward to giving our customers the chance to profit from this exciting innovation and also to support the network.

“More miners on the network definitely helps to increase the network security. It’s great to see operations & organizations such as Genesis Mining take an interest in supporting Ethereum.” - Vitalik Buterin in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine.

I'm getting on board Ether farming!

Edit: Hang on, the clause says "if ether is not possible anymore, will be switched to X11"

Great job guys! Ethereum is the IMHO the second-most important crypto-currency. And if Bitcoin devs do not get the block size sorted out Ethereum evertually will become the most important one.

I wondered about this and asked support: Ethereum might switch to PoS and one point in time. As no one knows if and when this happens, a fallback mechanism was added, so that you continue mining something useful.

In fact, the switch would be good in term of ROI, as 1 MH/s of Ether Mining is worth only 0.25 MH/s X11 (X11 is a more complicated algorithm). However, GM converts on a 1:1 ratio, which is very positive.

TL;DR: it is a good feature

Any good desktop based Ether wallet to recommend? I'm confused with Ether - there is some form of pre-sales ether and they are sold at a fixed price?

Please let us know what desktop ether wallet you use. So far ether don't look friendly yet. Isn't it the same when BTC was just established? haha

Etherum now?

Well i got a btc lifetime contract few months ago. I'm happy about your offer on a whole but I don't like the very tiny and regular income of cloud mining. I prefer investing in loans in the end I think.

good luck though, even if I don't take this train =3
