The ANN is often the first place people look for info about coins so being absolutely up to date is essential so as to keep rumour, fud etc in check and to let people see what a first mover VRC is. Great work and huge future ahead. Thanks to devs and community.

Great work and huge future ahead. Thanks to devs and community. Many coins have moved away from their ANN thread as the main source of communication. ANN threads on bitcointalk really aren't the best place to look for information due to the huge amount of FUD in the typical thread. We will, however, try to keep those who choose to look to this thread for information as informed as possible.

Many serious coins have moved away from this forum to other channels. Some host their own forum while others use Reddit or IRC. You can try to insult us by calling us lazy, but that doesn't make it so. It just shows that you have no real argument. Now let me repeat: We will try to keep this thread updated on all our developments.

This forum is just not our #1 channel of communication and sometimes things don't always get posted here. We do need to do a better job in that area. I need to do a better job in that area. Sometimes, however, things are posted, but they get lost in the occasional flood of FUD we receive. Sometimes it's easy to miss. I will try to do a better job of keeping this forum updated with the latest information, because even though it's not ideal, it is one of the first places those who are new to the coin look for information.

A Point I want to make is that a lot of us (myself included) sit behind corp firewalls that dont have access to IRC ...which leaves us blind for 10 hours of the day As a long time bagholder\permabull & supporter of BTC\LTC really love your work and you guys are filling the void that LTC has left wanting Keep up the fantastic work and allow pplz to believe in a real ALT to BTC where so many have failed....LTC included

What would stop you, by the way, other than laziness?

Now I feel embarrassed I even raised the point about the ANN. I didn't want to invite abusive posts from people who seem to feel they own or employ the devs. I thank you for your quick and polite reply to my post and appreciate that you will do your best. You guys are the furthest thing from lazy imaginable. Thanks for your work. Verisay, Verido.

By next month their will be 4 more you really expect them to sit here and wait for you to post. Really dude you have nothing better to do then to sit here and wait, go on IRC if you want some live action make some friends. Get real, if you would like I can be your first friend. Let the Devs work and lets talk to each other on how we can improve our coin after all we are all staking in the same coin.

I would say that keeping this forum up-to-date should be a top communication priority. I would guess that the majority of people who are involved in altcoins come here for their day-to-day information.. this is the hub. At least, until you can establish another one.
You can say that forums are a "dime a dozen" and that they are going to be popping up everywhere, and they will, but it's not about the forum it is about who visits it.. Sure, go make a forum and have fun talking to yourself.
