It doesn't make too much sense to have a Proof-of-Stake coin added to a site that's dedicated to Cryptocurrency mining profitability.

Yes, VeriCoin can be mined indirectly via the VeriPool, but the profitability of the VeriPool depends upon the difficulty of the undisclosed coin that it mines at any given moment combined with how well the OBA does when it sells those coins and ultimately buys VRC (which could happen at a much later time). That's not something that can readily fit into a chart like the one on CoinWarz.

True, but other POS coins are there on the list, and CoinWarz is a popular site for altcoins. Like I said, it takes veri little time.  We are close to overtaking BC with 102 votes now.

To add to the largest amount being staked today by minters at 16-18 million. You also have a large increase in wallets to the biggest amount at over 5,000 now.

Looks like VRC is starting to get some nice distribution.

Yet Another Staking Question:  Does the network staking number only include the coins marked "Staked"?  If so, there are millions of coins sitting in wallets trying to be staked, but aren't yet.  I have a dedicated wallet jut for staking and I have never seen more than 20% of them "Staked" at any time.  Matter of fact, the number of my "Staked" coins went down over night... curious.

Looks like the guy who bought up the cheap VRC this morning took a dump on XC while he was at it.

This is why people hate VRC. They see money flowing from 1 coin to another. At the end of the day VeriCoin will continue to take more share from the entire market as they grow the vision.

What they don't realize is VRC is going for new customers, trying to bring all of crypto up. Other coins should embrace what VRC is doing. Pushing the envelope and making all crypto move towards a more useful, practical nature. Something that has been a downfall of crypto for so long.

Up to this point most coins try to preserve longterm wealth. Look at Ron Paul Coin, LOL that even had a good run due to people thinking just the name would hold its value.

A goal has never been to create a distribution platform to seek mass adoption. Bitcoin has always been a underground thing for whackos to hoard if you ask most people.

VeriCoin will be the first coin to engage the masses audience with reasonable, beneficial services for those who need it most. Taking out the need for leveraged banks which can sometimes fail and require the whole worlds attention to "bail out".

This is a big step for crypto in general. You can see something has shook every alt coin on the market in recent weeks and there is some speculation that money is finding a home in VeriCoin.

I personally believe people realize crypto is going to take a giant leap forward thanks to the push from VeriCoin developers into a large scale market sooner than many expected. When the day comes that a coin would be a true compliment to Bitcoin. I felt it would be something like this. I didn't know it would be "VeriCoin". People need this in everday life, and everyday life needs a crypto thats easy and not a hassle to obtain, and has to be simple to spend.

Checkmate.

My magic 8 ball says "buy VRC"  Cheesy

Good job i held my coins.  Did not expect this, thank you for who is behind this pump, if VRC had dropped any lower, you would of got my coins.

Now, can someone please make some VRC seatbelts, because this is the craziest roller-coaster ride i have ever been on and too many times i have been close to falling off!
