But BC also made many new innovations of the time like, oh IDK the whole pure PoS idea that nearly every coin is based on now

I don't think that's correct. There were other PoS coins but BC was first to reach full PoS because of it's short PoW period.

People are not grateful, and forgettable.
Without BC, there would be no VRC, and many other short-term PoS/PoW coins.
We should all acknowledge BC

edit:
one/two month in crypto-world is years in real-world, people forget things so fast, such a pity

If people have followed my twitter account, I have only had good things to say about BC and rat4 (the BC developer). We're all in this crypto business together.

I didn't mean that to you, just to some people, for instance, koralon.

BC DEVELOPER DIDN'T INVENT PURE POS.

No need to reply if you still didn't get it.

BC was the first to get into POS I believe due to its fast POW time and clever marketing.

That said they are a good team and a good coin, no reason to have anomosity to anyone in the crypto community progressing the technology. The BC devs are very capable people.

That premine asterisk on Coinmarketcap looks too fugly for me to ever get near them

That's not a premine asterisk. Single asterisk represents coins that are not mineable.

And I feel stupid

Thanks for clearing that up!

I've learned from watching "Scandal" it is not enough to do your best, the competition should fail… i hope they do. And if I'm thinking this way, others might think that way for VRC too

If this group buy goes well, and VeriCoin dev permission of course  Wink, I'll run another with more requested articles of clothing.

Is there an official image of "Vericoin accepted here" . I think that is important in getting the word out via merchants or even personal sites.

The difference between staying ahead or letting the competition catch you, is passion.  We have it and will be continuing to innovate beyond the scope of the current technology.

An old acquaintance of mine (he taught me how to hack Starbucks wifi 10 years ago for free internet), Dan Kaminsky, is going to be helping VeriCoin out on our ANON implementation. You may have heard of him before: http://www.businessinsider.com/dan-kaminsky-highlights-flaws-bitcoin-2013-4, http://www.wired.com/2013/05/lets-cut-through-the-bitcoin-hype/, and http://www.slideshare.net/dakami/bitcoin-8776098 for example.

Seriously?

Wow this is huge!

He is a great great guy, I love it when he breaks out the Gumbi to explain things.  And when he describes how the evil 1% calls us muppets. He really is great you can learn a lot regarding liberty listening to him. I started over a year ago because he has great inside on Silver (Precious Metals)

And still we see  Vericoin price stuck in the low 40k's! This is total madness! But this is crypto. People just want quick P&D coins to make easy money.

What more do people need and want?

What i want is that the REAL investors stay calm. This is a great coin with an open vision to their investors. Stick with that.

I think the coin is showing great resiliency, compared to other coins sinking today further to the bottom

can't sue without patent, BC could have sued every PoS coin that stumbled upon otherwise. Diversity is good, which allows devs to implement old ideas and come up with new ones.
