The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I just installed the new one and it installed over the existing. Easy install, copied wallet.dat first to safe location though. |

Just a question, how extensive is this wallet upgrade been tested by for bugs etc ?. I mean like possible attacks or theft as well.

It's more secure and has been tested well. The protocol itself has not been changed. |

As long as i have a good complex password on i, I should be fine, I kinda freak out doing it for staking, cause last wallet did not require a password to withdraw when in staking mode.

As long as i have a good complex password on i, I should be fine, I kinda freak out doing it for staking, cause last wallet did not require a password to withdraw when in staking mode.
That is one of the main reasons this wallet is more secure, there is no full wallet unlock at all anymore. Now it would require at all times a full hard brute force of your password to get your coins even if they got your wallet.dat. |
