Yes, regarding above post, I worked for Securicor and DHL and saw how things are loaded onto trailers, sometimes thrown 2-3 meters forward for it to land hard on the floor, after that half a dozen other heavy boxed thrown on top of it. Only exception is the very top of the range service, for which a great premium is charged but the boxes are handles with more care. I hope the Mini-Rig has some serious packaging.

I've talked with someone who worked at UPS a while back... same sort of deal. They would laugh at packages that said "fragile" on them, and simply toss them even harder. Really, that's why you need so much foam and bubble wrap to ship anything safely. I'd say that the BFL units are wrapped pretty well though.

The Single has little weight, posting something like that it pretty easy, MiniRig will be the real challenge. I hope they ship a test MiniRig around US before shipping it back to themselfs to see what weaknesses the packaging might have.

While you're there with your spy-cam glasses, mention to them that they don't need to scrape the top off the chips, or any other 'damage' they do to them to hide what they are, any more. Maybe that old lady can get more boards completed more quickly that way

To each his own... those are usually the types of pads people try to avoid though! They don't conduct heat very well.

(4 BFL, 4 Power Bricks, 4 USB Cables) It was severely dented on all corners. It looked like at lease at least one of them was going to be in a bad way considering the weight of the package. Luckily, I have all four up and running without issue. No dents, blemishes, or pieces rattling on any of them.

Thanks, but I have grown VERY fond of Ceramique for CPU's & GPU's,for the last 6-8 years, but for these FPGA's I think it's a little too thick. I'm mainly curious about what folks have actually used for the FPGA's. So far MX-4,any others?? Please keep the suggestions coming,Thanks
