I haven't seen this yet in the thread, so here goes.  I finally got my coins into my wallet and worked through the sync problems.  I left it overnight and guess what, it staked.  Excellent, sounds good, right.  The wallet showed 1 confirmation, but seemed to be stuck, so I closed it and re-opened, still stuck and showing 1 confirmation on the stake.  All 2.9 coins were tied up in the stake (stake was 0.01216917 coins).  So, I decided to backup my wallet and re download the chain.  First thing that happened is my balance went to 0 and my stake and coins showed as a conflict and now I am left with nothing.  It took most of the day to get it to properly sync, but over the past 5 hours have been synced and no changes to the wallet and stake.  Please tell me what I am to do now??

Here are the transaction details:

Status: conflicted
Date: 5/27/2014 06:21
Source: Generated
Debit: 0.00 SYNC
Net amount: -2.92353153 SYNC
Transaction ID: d7fd7830a331216014adb3da059f03ac60f211ca8db68095f61b2d055796e18b

Generated coins must mature 60 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

Anyone know of any good sha256 multipool that will exchange for XC?
I'm using cryptoalts right now but it's less profitable then if i was mining for BTC.

every day...how to get mature coin if wallet sync stuck every damn day Huh

Steps for using the flavoured wallet.

1. Save&Backup Wallet.dat in c:\users\*name*\appdata\roaming\sync
2. Delete sync folder after securing your wallet.dat file
3. Start the sync-qt
4. Let it sync as far as it goes
5. Close the program if it stops downloading the block chain and run it again
6. Replace the default Wallet.dat with your personal wallet.dat that you saved in step 1
7. You now have a fully synced sync wallet

Extra Step: firewalls can stop a wallet from connecting to nodes with any coin so check your firewalls

Is it 1% or 100% POS per year?  I have seen both numbers floating around.

I know everyone has heard this song and dance but here it goes and I searched the best I could.

My wallet says I am up to date and at block 8535. Not sure if this is correct block. Also the wallet says I don't have mature coins even though they have been in there since the end of POW.

Maybe I missed something but haven't they been there long enough to at least be able to POS?

If you are going to leave your BTC on an exchange please send it to this address instead 1GH3ub3UUHbU5qDJW5u3E9jZ96ZEmzaXtG, I will at least use the money better than someone who steals it from the exchange. Thanks Wink

I guess those XC pumpers dont want ppl to buy sync. So they played with the market during their pump. Make it looks like ppl were dumping sync for XC.

There were whale miners with them dumping mined sync on purpose also, just want ppl to buy other coins which is being pumped. And, those pumpers&miners holding a lo...t of XC waiting to dump to us at a pumped price.

You should have never messed with it while it was in stake. They stay in stake for most of the day. Every confirm is a block and 50 blocks takes all day on this chain and if the wallet said it was synced you didn't have a problem.  Now i am not sure how to help you.

Same thing happening with DARK now.  They don't like ppl to buy dark.  Pump xc because they need to sell.. you guess what? sell their hardwares. Dark coin block reward decrease when diff go up.So we lessly want to buy new hardwares, and they don't like this.

1. relax. You didn't lose your coins.
2. in the console type repairwallet
3. you just got your first orphan. It worked as it should, just conflicted with a generated block. It'll go back into stake as soon as the orphan is clear.
4. You're good! It worked right.

8539 was the last block, so you should be right on. They will stake up when they are good and ready. i don't think any real pattern or set of circumstance has proven to get them to stake. Minimum coin age: 6 hours, Maximum coin age: 30 days.

That explains it. t could take up to 30 days for the coins to mature.

Fixed me up, thanks so much for pointing me in the right direction.  Learned something invaluable.

Since that, I've staked again.

It's okay. Nice to test the waters for dumpers. Clearly there's still some weak hands trying to sell off after the price moved a little. More work to do.
