I think you might be able to migrate the problem by setting a maxium stake time and resetting it once it reached the max. It would make staking more competitive (I think) and not really allow you to just sit around and not submit your blocks.  If you were to wait to long then the advantage of not submitting would be lost as you would be on the same level as everyone when the reward block came around, giving you no advantage.

Not sure what you're talking about. What problem? There's no advantage at all to waiting to submit your blocks. Old outputs don't get beneficial treatment compared to new ones.

Isn't this all a bit untrustworthy since we have to import our wallet.dat into the wallet and trust that you don't steal our keys. Surely this is another pump and dump? Smiley Smiley Smiley

CLAMs is too long here, to be only  p&d I think Wink

You don't have to import the wallet.dat with your BTC on it.
Sent your amount to another wallet, than import it or use just-dice.

Also good practice is send everything off that wallet to new wallet. Then Import old wallet and never use that old wallet.

No, it's open source. You can check (or employ somebody skilled to check for you if you lack the required skills yourself) and see that the code isn't doing anything bad.

since we have to import our wallet.dat into the wallet and trust that you don't steal our keys.

Retire the keys first. Empty them of BTC and commit to never reusing them.

Surely this is another pump and dump? Smiley Smiley Smiley

Any coin can be used to pump and dump. This seems unrelated to your other statements.

I've been waiting 32 days for Poloniex to process a 1050 CLAM withdraw.

Is anyone else having issues withdrawing CLAM?

12 days ago one of their reps said they would follow up on my ticket in 10 business days. (I believe Monday is the 10th day)

The estimated time to stake listed in the wallet is notoriously inaccurate.
Staking is, after all, somewhat random much like Proof-Of-Work mining.
Age makes the target you are trying to hit less difficult, but you still have to get lucky and hit it Smiley

Just had a withdraw problem ticket solved at Polo that was opened on new years eve.

Not Clam specifically but maybe a guide to current ETAs at Polo for this kind of issue.

Fucking A.

Thank you for that.

I guess this keeps my hands a bit more strong on hodling them, but kinda blows missing out on the stakes *adjusts jew hat*.

So now the "Clam Shell" consists of about 10 BTC in buy orders slightly above 0.001...
Everybody can relax... and get a good night's sleep.
This is great...
Because so many young coins steadily drift to zero and get delisted...
And "Clam Shell" looks to be great stabilizing solution for this.
Now we need to get some Alt Press about all features...
We have at least 3 interesting features worth writing about.

I would recommend importing the bootstrap.dat file rather than attempting to sync. Syncing doesn't work particularly well. I updated the file a few minutes ago. Now it goes up to block 2014300 which was staked on Wed May  2 12:42:40 UTC 2018.

Edit: it is 2,547,452,869 bytes in size.

Great! because I have download bootstrap few week ago, and my wallet sync only until 21 week behind, and any progress during week. When do you plan to upgrade to new version of wallet?
