Still wondering how Poloniex can create transactions that are never broadcast to the network.
Is there an issue with their CLAM client?
How do they fix the problem?
And why is this ongoing?
Probably a security thing. Not sure on CLAM but createrawtransaction signrawtransaction sendrawtransaction Are separate commands enabling the creation of a valid transaction but delay broadcast to suit needs. Maybe of interest. https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-examples#simple-spendingPerhaps Polo implementation is cockeyed somehow.

If there are any Clam developers, then it is their place to speak about any blockchain issues. If there are not any Clam developers who can fill that role, then any blockchain issue is difficult to resolve, no?
Completely separate to those matters: someone carried out a suspicious market pattern on Clams (that is, this large pump and dump), and they used Polo as the platform to do it. I am not surprised if the aftermath includes some amount of delay and background investigation of the asset in question. That is a danger inherent to trading something with this risk profile.

Importing the bootstrap.dat file is so slow, it was fast in the begining but now it's only 5 KB/sec and restarting doesn't help. This is gonna take a long time to sync.
Is there any Windows version for v2.1.0rc1 wallet?

Guys,
Kudos to the whale... Dump 500 BTC worth to where it is now... Buying 200BTC now will hike the price to 0.006. That's a damn good deal.

It may be also back to 0.0002 where we started last year. Got some CLAMS stuck after withdrawal, contacted Poloniex support. How long does it take to solve this? I know that this is common issue, I wonder how much time do they need to "recover" my coins. Thanks.
I've got coins stuck with a fake txid on Poloniex as well since Sunday now. This is why we created Swap. We have LOTS of CLAMS for sale right now and our shit counts confirmations right/fucking works. Did you receive your coins already? There is no action from them by now and I am missing my staking rewards :-( With the big volume (for such a tiny market like CLAM) in the last months, are there chances to list CLAMS on other exchanges? Or even to relist it on Bittrex? I still do not get the meaning of delisting it there last year. Do we have some examples of relisting coins on B-trex? Thanks.

I have not received the CLAMS with a fake TXID yet. It's been a week now for me. Their customer service has been in steady contact though. Missing stakes sucks, but that's the danger you take in dealing with them. This is EXACTLY why we created Swap.
Boom. Had a community member help Xploited complete with Windows build for the new CLAM wallet. https://pastebin.com/VxdR856p (NOT OFFICIAL, this is from the community member) This is a HUGE help. The fastest sync time that I've heard about was just a little over a hour.

Yes we already discussed in later replies that i had initially misread the data, and agreed with the same conclusions you just described. Not sure why this is being rehashed.
I replied to your post when I saw it. I didn't read the rest of the thread first.
**edit ** My understanding is . They haven't "lost" the coins .. they have created and posted you a transaction which never got broadcast to the network.
It would be nice if they would make the raw transaction available for download in your list of withdrawals so you can download it and broadcast it to the network for yourself. You can broadcast a CLAM transaction to the network using https://just-dice.com/pushtx for example. Other CLAM sites may well offer the same functionality too.

Mind if i borrow for my own project ? Such a simple solution, because if indeed a valid transaction was created, a re-broadcast would resolve it.

^ Socialised losses for lenders from Clam dump. Let it be a lesson that "no-risk" lending isn't what it appears to be with these exchanges. Counter-party risk is very real.

Cryptopia coins aren't quite lost just yet. They MAY be returned once the liquidator sorts things out (at least months).
