I like the looks of https://btcpop.co/

Their exchange stakes for you while you trade.  (So you can leave coins for sale on the ask without losing staking profits while you wait.)

I'm going to continue to use Bittrex until OCT 4.  I still think they are nuts for delisting CLAM and will hopefully come to their sense by then.  Plus, Bittrex has discounted CLAMS for sale atm that are super easy to withdraw.

FreeBitcoins will have a bid/ask eventually, but we are going to have to find a new trading home after OCT 4 too.  (quitting trading bittrex a day earlier to be safe)

The website www.JustCLAM.com just released a few days ago as the first exclusive CLAM trading site.  The owner is some Indian dude that I've never seen before and no 2fa offered atm.

Thanks for your reply, i will take a look to both sites, the second one looks really interesting, an exchanger only for clam, not sure about how much trust in them, but will give them a try for small with small amounts.

Is weird to see how some exchanger ask for 0.0032 and other ones ask for 0.0024, that crazy gap is a nice business opportunity.

Hey guys,

Since CLAM is getting delisted on Bittrex (and Poloniex isn't fixing their wallets), let's try to list CLAM on other exchanges.

You can vote for it on this new exchange : https://numex.exchange/vote/

And if someone who's close to the dev team can try to send applications to other exchanges, that would be great. I think I saw that HitBTC has a form.

We need to fight or CLAM will sink.

T&Cs appear to be ripped from coinexchange, but based on the above Google search I guess justclam isn't the only one copying legal text. 3 of those sites have the misspelling "CoinExhchange" embedded in their T&C.  Cheesy

BITTREX info The BTC-CLAM market will be delisted on 10/5/2018

Thanks for the reminding sir, even if already old news. In my opinion the market is overreacting a lot. Everyone sees that clam is being delisted from bittrex, go to coingecko and see that it holds 40-60% of the market, get desperated and sell. But they dont know that bittrex never had much more than 10% of the market share of clams and only reached 40-60% after poloniex got stuck with the clam wallet. Something that is temporary and will be fixed soon, leaving bittrex with the 10% or less they had before (if they choose to keep clamcoin).

The coincidence of both of them getting clam offline at the same time is what catch my attention. I sent a support request to bittrex, and they said they are delisting because a sum of factors. Here is the full email:

Hi there,

I hope you are enjoying your day.

Bittrex looks at various criteria when deciding to list or delist a coin.

These include but are not limited to: ongoing developments, technical innovation, blockchain network health, social media, community engagement, market cap, volume, coin distribution.

If you feel strongly about a particular coin, you may contact the developers.

If a coin is marked for removal please finish any trades you would like on this coin and make sure to remove the coins by clicking Wallets, searching for the coin, and clicking the - to bring up the withdraw page.

Best Regards,

Rajit Chakrabarti @ Bittrex

I think they cant be more vague than this.

Is weird to see how some exchanger ask for 0.0032 and other ones ask for 0.0024, that crazy gap is a nice business opportunity.

The difference between exchanges are because poloniex is having some problems with the wallet. You cannot arbitrate between them, because you cant deposit or withdrawal from poloniex and move them between exchanges

Bittrex are being dicks to be honest. Announcing a delisting while Poloniex is having problems (and is apparently busy with other "bigger" things like the XRP volume who made their exchange crash and their launch of a stablecoin) was really a the worst choice they could make.   Angry
No precise reason given, no previous contacts of the devs... They couldn't care less.

You can vote for CLAM once a day to be listed on this new exchange btw : https://numex.exchange/vote/

As I pointed out, justclam is not the only exchange ripping legal text. I haven't really tried to determine the ultimate source but there are some signs that even coinexchange is not it. So there's a chain of new businesses copying and making only minor modifications to the existing text of another business.

A couple of years ago when Novaexchange opened up it was pointed out their T&Cs were copied from Cryptopia.

fwiw, I've recently had the benefit of a technical convo with someone working for/commissioned by Novaexchange to thrash out some back-end implementation issues and I can report that they're fairly solid on that side in terms of both code and engineering. OTOH, Ts&Cs in this domain are specious if the contract is not between legally-recognised (and therefore canonically-identifiable) entities.

Cheers

Poloniex is cleaning there exchange, and that is nothing more then normal.
They want to make money, so coins that not make profit will be removed.
Clam is not profitable anymore, every coin cost money to keep it running "man hours"
And the money they make with the fee of trading Clam is minimum.
So they update there websites with new coins, and the not profitable they will delete.

1  Poloniex                   CLAM/BTC   $28,141   $2.01       71.78%   support left 13.8  Btc
2  Bittrex Bittrex           CLAM/BTC   $9,861   $1.55       25.15%  support left   8.9  Btc
3  Cryptopia Cryptopia   CLAM/BTC   $669           $1.58         1.71%   support left   0.4  Btc
4  Bitsane Bitsane           CLAM/BTC   $531           $2.15         1.35%   support left    ? almost nothing
5  YoBit YoBit           CLAM/BTC   $0           $1.98         0.00%   support left    ? almost nothing

price on poloniex has bin pumped up 10 to 20 % but don't be stupid to fall for this stuff
they will sell your walls and thank you for you to expensive buys.

Clam had already a long way moving down, so the candle is slowly going out i think.
Sad this coin has no potential anymore,

CLAM had more trading volume than 30% of the coins listed in poloniex, and is one of few listed capable of margin lending. The volume is low now, this is normal as poloniex is having some problems with the wallet. Talking about a CLAM delisting from poloniex looks like pure nonsense, tough. Is there something you know that we dont, or are you just speculating and throwing FUD?
