This morning, i have sold all of my clams on poloniex after got their email about delisted clam. I shocked to know that since i've known clam on poloniex more than 3 years, thought they will rise again to 0.01 btc. It's very difficult to rise again, especially clam only have 2 exchange sites for now according CMC, and there will be only on yobit.

This isn't the end for CLAM, it is only the beginning.

And now CLAM is currently below than $1 or only 10k sats, the lowest price i've ever seen for clam. Seems people are already losing their hope with this coin

I think if an exchange removes it they remove it for good. But that's not to say that another exchange couldn't add it in. Or that YoBit couldn't make it functional on their website. There's clearly a demand for CLAMs, but whether it's big enough or not is tough to say.

BACs exchange is certainly a help, but what is really needed for any survivability of the coin is an exchange listed on coinmarketcap's market list. Without that it's largely dead.

Separately, does development still happen on this coin? Or did the devs ditch the project a while ago?

I've dealt with coinmarketcap before (you may notice they use Clamcoin.org)... I'll deal with them again when we are prepared.

However, I'd never paid a huge listing fee for that... they possibly may try to demand that and it frankly, isn't going to happen from me.

Poloniex announced they will delist CLAMS next month, and the problem from now on will not be Poloniex-related things. What we need to help CLAMS to come back is new exchanges, one at least, because of the nearly dead Yobit exchange (for CLAMS). If there is no new exchange for CLAMS in coming weeks or months, people will keep dumping their CLAMS at lower prices, and that is not what we all expect.

Anyway, I think CLAMS team can do their works to bring CLAMS to other exchanges. If a funny coin like Dogecoin can be listed on Binance, whey not CLAMS?

Interesting, thanks for the response. Well, it's not nothing. If Xploited or whoever could work with YoBit potentially I think that would be good. YoBit I think is trying to make a presence on BitcoinTalk presently so now might be a good timing to talk with them. I could possibly make an introduction if necessary (not sure if I can or not).

Trading is hard. You don't know in advance whether the price is going to go up or down.

You've been around BTC since the price was $100 per coin. Why didn't you buy a bunch when it was cheap and sell it when it was $20k each? Could have got nice profit...

Also, lots of CLAM was moved in and out of JD, traded, and redeposited by its new owners. It mostly ends up back there in different hands.

Hello dooglus, is there any plan to add exchange to just-dice? I think that would be a nice solution for the polo delist. And if the answer is no, what will be the way to get clam now? any plan to add the coin to any other exchange?

Glad to see this project still alive and kicking, it was one of the first projects that I thought had a really cool way of distributing coins for BTC, Doge and Litecoin owners. One person that hit up multiple faucets and had many different addresses made out like a bandit, but Clam absorbed the hit and kept growing.

There's several things we could do:

-Try to get listed on Binance (difficult). Binance could be interested by the staking feature. Tell them to maybe avoid margin trading with it (stupid whale that pumped and dumped on Polo).
-Try to get listed on SouthXchange (Medium difficulty? But need people to register and vote with their crypto )
-Get TradeSatoshi to show their BTC/CLAM pair on CMC.


Stuff that is in progress:

-New exchange by Xploited and BAC, the guys behind the already well used "Swap" (shapeshift-like without KYC). I wonder if they'll use this exchange for the price showed on swap. I'm sure they kinda plan to leverage Swap's volume to kickstart their exchange's volume as well.
-Clam is also being worked on I think to be easier to sync? I think it's Xploited working on it atm. 

Where to buy clam otherwise? 
There's several places, not always listed on CMC. We saw btcpop.co popping (hehe) up here and they indeed offer a BTC/CLAM pair. TradeSatoshi is another place but they aren't accepting several countries, including the USA. I haven't tried them so I don't know if everything is working well. It's all pretty low volume but if you need a clam or 2 to gamble on JD, this might suffice after Poloniex have closed. 

If our community of CLAM users want it to survive, I'm sure we can do it!

Time for the wet blanket of reality - why would any exchange that wants to become legitimate in the space take on a coin that had been subject to the blatant price manipulation as CLAM had? CLAM is never getting listed in Binance. In fact, it is rather unlikely at this point that it will ever be listed on any exchange of significant volume.

I've never tried their service.  They seem legit from what I heard.  They also credit stakes from my understanding.

And i have one question for BAC, Is https://freebitcoins.com/swap/ already working?

Swap is working just fine at the moment.

If you use the max amount of coins.  Just wait for another confirmation and it should be refilled!
