Random FUD

Darksend isn't finished yet and was never promised to be 100% anonymous unless you use great care.

From Evan (of DRK) himself: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg7060893#msg7060893
So with DRK, we have an UNFINISHED product that will NEVER be 100% anonymous.  #FAIL

Yep.

^--Doesn't this also apply to XC?

Dan Metcalf: it does NOT apply to XC

I'm not technical enough to understand the coinjoin article but I find it humorous that Evan has just been "too busy" for days to comment on the XC drama or call off his attack dogs on twitter but immediately rushes online to give a meek answer to accusations darksend is not foolproof.

For the love of God people, I ll be posting my wallet yet again just because ive seen at least 5 or 6 posts about PoS staking in the last 5 pages,

PoS is working completely fine even for small wallets. You just have to w8... I w8ed more than a week before staking.... max stake age is 30 days if I remember correctly!

The amount of FUD spread here is unbelievable, the only reason Im holding these suckers to moon is JUST because so much fear and trash talk reassures me of my choice! Hell, I dont even think the fuly featuredl wallet release will reassure me more than this FUD!

well i saw people were still having issues that's why i asked. i'm not familiar with pos coins and did not know it would take a week plus to stake. some people are reporting longer and not staking at all. i thought this was a acknowledged bug and a fix was being implemented? so once it gets staked you start getting paid up to 30 days? then what? do you just restake it after 30 days? what happens if i need to restart my computer, does it start over and you have to wait again?

Agree 100%, I think most sane people are now getting tired of this being called a scam coin, which it blatantly is not... The kitchen sink has been thrown this way, im taking it as a veiled compliment and deep rooted fear of the coin.. They are also doing their best to suppress the price I am sure.. Got a funny feeling the loyal will be rewarded here.. This coin is great.

looks like u havent been here for some days then, cause ur so wrong.

@mastermined

ur coins have min stake age and max stake age. each coin will have staked at least once in the max stake coin age period(again, IF I have understood correctly, cause im knew as well), but must have surpassed minimum coin stake age, which means u MUST have kept them at ur wallet, without making transcations, for that min period of time. After those specific coins have staked, they reset, w8ing to suprass min coin age again, along with ur new, minted coins. I dont think you need to have ur wallet OPENED at all times, coins age just for sitting at ur drive(at least thats what I gathered from other PoS coins as well). You just have to encrypt, lock and unlock wallet between some days(I do every day), in order to let the mature coins stake(you will see the process in ur wallet as a notification)

This coin will go no where if you keep going into the Darkcoin thread to attack it. Be adults. Keep it in your own thread unless you have serious questions, or can have an intelligent discussion.

You can turn off your Computer, even your wallet doesn't have to be opened (and unlocked so that staking works) all day Long.
it depends on when your coins cam to your wallet, your wallet knows when your coins came in, and then your wallet waits for at least 8 hours to begin staking. but it also can wait for 6 days. or up to 30 days. then your wallet Begins calculating "how many coins came to me at which date" and "how many staking coins accordingly to the 3.3%interest per year does my owner deserve".

this is at least what i've learned from other pos-coins. and i definitely only opened my wallet (and unencrypted it - yes i know there is a way to not unencrypt the wallet but making it staking while it's encrypted) once several days.

Dear Lord, please grant me the ability...

Not really look at his posting history, he hasn't commented once on the XC/DRK rift. He should have gotten online and nipped it in the bud early on after twittergate and said "I'm only concentrating on my coin" just IMO.

The darkcoin thread is getting some spam from what seem to be xc supporters.

As this is a self-moderated thread, please can you ask them to stop. You may not have direct influence over random people on the internet posting what they like, but I would appreciate you do your best.

thank you.

I already have (many times) but it also seems we are getting a lot and I mean a lot of spam from what seems to be darkcoin supporters. For the record, please let your developer know to the same.

Hey Teka heres a crazy idea. Since you are the forum moderator of this thread, would it be possible to ban users from commenting in it?
For example the user "Mr. Whale"

Go into the darkcoin thread and see what he's been doing for the last two pages.
Maybe if there was a ban from this thread, he would stop.

ok thanks, so all i have to do is leave the coins in the address and i get paid? do i have to leave the client open or just have the coins not leave the address? if i run a xnode i have to leave the client open all the time to mix right?
