Jasin has not been present of late for personal reasons concerning his family, which of course I will not disclose further.

It would not be fair to expect him to show up now, and I'm happy to work on this in his absence.

I agree completely that this mess should be cleared up asap. So henceforth, whenever someone connects XC to Jasin, can you all repeat my previous post? If you want to be brief, he's not an official member of the team. Enough said.

Well that honors you , but trust me stating "he is not an official member" is not enough right now. it will only fuel the fud cause its not really precise. thats not clearing up. That he has family issues is a fucked up situation which makes the whole situation more difficult but to really clear this up he has to be present. at least briefly. I probably sound like the biggest ass now but do you have proof of his situation? And if so would you behave the same way in that situation yourself with people relying on you?

Jasin i wish you and your fam all the best but there are lifeprojects of people working day and night sabotaged by your unsolved work issues right now!!!

He should issue a statement seperating himself and his Asic problems from XC. than PoBC should be put on ice until he solves the fibonacci stuff to full customer satisfaction. thats the only way out in my opinion. PoBC makes no sense with a dev that has this issues brewing. But if everything turns out good it would still be an option. I f he means good for XC he stands as far from it as possible atm. that would show responsibility and character to the level we are known from the rest of the team.

Just my 2 cents.

Here's my 2 cents:

I don't care.

Seriously.   Does anyone even know what type of criminal past Satoshi Nakamoto was involved in?   Did that stop the success of Bitcoin?

That's what's awesome; it doesn't matter.  Bitcoin could have been conceived during an eight year stint in prison.

The mathematics presented in satoshi's whitepaper are legit. The blockchain concept works. Removing the element of trust ensures the irrelevance of personal background or malicious intentions, even of the creator(s). This is all assuming the code for any given coin can be reviewed and verified (which will eventually be the case for xc).

The math speaks for itself, as will the code.

What are we concerned about here guys?

What's the next version number of XC going to be? As I understand, it will be final rev. 2?

Latest version number is 0.9.2.48a_RC2.XCurrency-2.47.
Wouldn't it be wise to change version numbering a bit? Current naming of the releases is a bit confusing as the current version includes v 2.48a and 2.47 at the same time.

If the next final rev 2 won't include 2.5's XChat and New UI preview, wouldn't it be wise to handle it as 2.49?
Changing the version numbering to a bit less confusing would let people follow the roadmap a bit easier.

I've said it before, the best way to deal with FUD attacks is to drown it with constructive & positive posts.

Finally it would be equally unethical - a betrayal of him - to not voice our confidence in Jasin's integrity and strongly object to unsubstantiated claims that he is a scammer. We have every expectation that he will sort out his ASIC woes and not just disappear.
I've said this to you several times. How is it that you are not satisfied?
I would think that if you want to stick up for Jasin then it is not appropriate for you do do it in your role as an XC team member.
In the corporate or political world one would leave this sort of issue up to an independent third party, Jasin would step down until such time as the issue was resolved. There are well worn paths for negotiating such issues. Here there is not. Cryptos are in many way a radical and disruptive technology, so it's unclear where they fit or how such things should be resolved. Are crypto's something which will b e integrated in an existing system or something that facilitates something new and beneficial for us all?
Revolutionary is a much cliched word, but, IMHO a currency secured by cryptography rather than traditional means is truly revolutionary, and so it's still unclear how this will fit in, as (despite the sometimes corporate terminology) it is an extremely radical medium and technology.

Anyway...to answer your question..."How is it that you are not satisfied?".... I would prefer that your involvement in issues outside of XC, such as this issue, were separated from your involvement with XC.

Bit harsh - I think he was just saying that there is a risk that personal opinions when
they are expressed by the spokesperson automatically become XC's official position. And he doesn't think
there needs to be an official XC position on whether or not JL is a good guy. I think that was a fair comment.

rdnkjdi should be banned from posting in here in my opinion.

I'd already noticed over the last week that anything he says is just constant negativity. Then just now I noticed his topic here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770801.0 where he is encouraging everyone not buy XC and other rubbish.

Because Jasinlee has pissed him off in some way he's conducting a smear campaign against XC.

Ive read this thread daily since it started. And I can tell you that rdnkdji has never had anything positive to say. He tries to hide his troll with semi legitimate questions every now and then, but don't be fooled, he's pure troll.

Hi guys,
Am debugging my explorer when i found this block: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xc/block.dws?112246
Seems to me Bittrex is stacking there coins, can i conclude that this is there hot wallet?

Always expected exchanges to stake just as we do, not that i mind coz i would do the same but after reading so much about exchanges never staking coz of security issues it was a little surprise to me

Am i reading this correct?
