Anyone else undecided on whether to buy into the ITO or not. If I hadn't lost money & buying power on XC it would have been an easy decision. XC has retracted so much and has likely bottomed out for now, it might be worth hanging on as it retraces back. On the other hand the ITO could easily pump beyond the ITO price over the next few weeks.

Yeah don't expect much of a pump on release, the blocknet will deliver a decent, consistent passive income for years to come, but i doubt in the short term it is going to be pumped. people looking for quick turn around profit will most likely be disappointed.

I'm in the exact same position. Only way I see the ITO pumping beyond the ITO price is if it sells out, I don't think that will happen. Yeah, agree. I was thinking of watching, waiting and reassessing. Keeping an eye on the amount selling is going to be key. Obviously a better exchange rate would be nice. In the short term, the likelihood of XC clawing back to where it was is more than the IPO price increasing by double in my view. The flip side is that the lower the amount of Blocks that sell in the ITO the more stake you will have in Blocknet. |

Hello. Does anyone have an explication for such an enormous price drop? The only way i can think of would be an investor's fear that 2.5K BTC ito will possibly raze xc's singularity or diminish its reputation. Seems like among all the other coins applied for participation in blocknet only xc keeps losing in its value. Just look at trex charts: blocknet has been announced 10-20.2014 and next day 10-21.2014 a huge price drop occurred 0.00103733-0.00069996.

Arlyn, perhaps one of the simplest ways of doing the exchange rate algorithm and one which would probably keep all coin holders happy might be to simply use the rate based upon the highest Currency:Bitcoin ratio it has had since the ITO announcement up to the actual ITO date, and keep it consistent for the period. This seems to benefit everyone, my guess is you will end up with more coins overall also.
