I don't think there is any source with all the changes that happened. This kinda solidifies it for me that they already started fresh on another coin. I mean which would you ask for? I would ask for POSA v1 as that is what MrRGnome liked the most. |

LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR: NO ONE IN HERE SHOULD FEEL STUPID. Devs took advantage of a good community. Was not foreseeable. It easily could have been turned around with the slightest effort. There is no consumer protection in cryptos so people like alty and dacloak and "the dagger" can do whatever they want. Especially with a closed source coin. All of the volume could have been completely faked. They could have pulled coins from thin air and no one would know. I stuck around for the community and moved to SDC/PND when things got really wierd which helped me get back what I lost on Cloak. |

Dude, don't get me wrong but... who is/are the problem with CLOAK ? Isn't ALTY the big SCAMMER in this story ?!? Everybody believed what he promised... I have only a few coins (very few, indeed) and I'm waiting what the DEV will really deliver. It looks nice but I can only say that.... it looks... I always advise people to dive into the IRC channels. It gives you a good feel for the coin. Like in Cloak, it was pretty obvious when things changed. To the opposite of that situation the SDC IRC is awesome. People in there are great and you will be surprised about the familiar names you might see from the peak of the Cloak Community. What I feel sorry for now is the people who are coming in to invest thinking that there will be a community takeover at some point. |

I guess the coin will now slowly fade away. But not because of YourMother's "heroic act"; it's more the devs' work.
To this I-told-ya-YourMother-was-right-guy: I didn't lose on cloak, either. Instead of "cutting my losses", I flipped the coin and made it back. All of it. Now that this goal is achieved, I'm out, too. Moving on, learning more and leaving potential investors in this thread the message to be very, very careful.
