I can't mine there because I don't have a wallet  
In fact I have a wallet, but the original one v1.10 which don't synchronizes anymore.
Windows binaries?
Or at least a node, to see if the old wallet works.
I mined some at minergate and they stay there.
Sent 111 AEON at the donation address.

The old one might work if you give it a seed node on the command line (--add-seed-node). I'll PM you.

The instructions don't work if followed from scratch on a newly installed OS. I'm sure they are correct, but maybe the author has something else already configured which isn't in those instructions. See my previous posts.

I'd like to build on Windows, so any help would be appreciated.

To the people having trouble building for windows :
Please take the time to post the detailed error log, otherwise there is no way anyone could help you, if it's big use pastebin so to not bloat this thread.
Also mention the Windows version and tools (VC++, Cmake, architecture, ...) you are using.
Building boost is the trickiest part, so make sure to strictly follow to the steps on the OP.

Yes I noticed. We can definitely look at integrating that. I would put it at roughly 2.1 on the roadmap (shortly after the upcoming core changes, but before the major work needed for item #3).

It doesn't but there is a problem with the forum software (all cryptonote addresses get broken up like that). A work around is to quote the post first as if you were going to reply to it, then copy the address from the quoted text instead of the original.

Just double checked the instructions on the OP for building on Windows.
They work with a newly pulled repo of github.com/aeonix/aeon.

You will get 12 Warnings and 3 build errors, which correspond to three tools that fail to build (will work on this when I have a little time and send a PR).

The build errors are all related to the same include file not being found (version.h) on :

aeon\src\connectivity_tool\conn_tool.cpp
aeon\tests\core_proxy\core_proxy.cpp
aeon\src\p2p\net_node.inl

The main executables needed to run AEON are correctly build :
aeond.exe
simplewallet.exe
simpleminer.exe

Connectivity tool and core proxy are completely unimportant. I'm not sure about the error in that last file, as it contains the core of the p2p code. If that wouldn't compile, the node wouldn't either. There might be some kind of include path issue with the Windows build scripts.

nikos64, I don't even have Windows and I haven't used it for years. If someone else wants to do Windows builds and upload them to Mega, I would be grateful for that.
