No, I'm afraid that's incorrect.
Very good, I'll wait for the analysis publication then. unless there is a good reason not to, I agree with releasing the analysis. +1 I do think that it is a good move to dump these sockpupets, i just hope no innocent people get caught up in it, as others have mentioned here, that they bought stakes for other family members etc.

We will not use a cryptographically provable way of sockpuppet mitigation.
Maybe we should have taken you as the official sockpuppet audit master ^^

There has been a lot of discussion these last pages. We are sorry for any inconvenience created to real NEM members. We will do our best to continue to answer your questions and help make sure real NEMsters don't lose their stakes. Thanks you for your understanding.
Did I read it correctly: We will not reveal the analysis details that led to eradication of almost 400 stakes. We will not use a cryptographically provable way of sockpuppet mitigation. We do not care about this PR disaster. Why this guy even tend to care? Whats your motivation to spread this crap and FUD? Go back your little NXT circle-Jerking community, where you and your minions lick your ass constantly.

Thanks for the numbers It's true many people left, will be interesting to see how many people will ultimately remember their NEM May be like this man,who bought pizza for 2000 btc's It was 10 000 BTC. O.m.f.f.f.f.f.f.f.f.f.g...))) 1 NEM $100 I predict 1 NEM $0,01-0,02 probably in less than 1 year that would be awesome. hopefully

For sure. This has been one of my main researches for last 3 years. I'm the god of sockpuppet eradication. On a serious note: is there a reason not to do an extra round of anti-sockpuppet campaign (like an already scheduled release)?

No, I don't think so. We will do everything we need to address this matter on a separate note.

The rule was only one stake for you, and only one more for someone else.

Lets face the fact, less than 1400 stakes (out of 4000) would go to stakeholder, That means more than 65% coins will be reserved for "development". That's ridiculously high percentage. How about cutting that in half by releasing less coins in genesis block? Drop that percentage to 35%

Was at work last night and came home and went to bed, woke up and found the NEM thread in a mess! That is funny.
Apparently there was quite some controversy.
Let's really think about it. There are 1400 accounts that are not socks that are probably pretty happy that more socks got kicked out. Then there are a few people in here screaming that we shouldn't kick out socks.
My guess is that most people in here that are going crazy about socks just saw their personal NEM fortunes wiped out because their socks got exterminated.

Well I'm happy that the socks got kicked, but I'm not happy that I lost my only stake because me and my brother had bought a stake from the same IP and computer. I hope the devs really look through the appeals to spot out the real Nemsters. I can't be the only one in the same situation if the grounds to wipe away a stake were so loose. No wonder such a high percentage of the remaining shareholders lost a stake today.

A long time ago when a chap registered 5 accounts, you know for his 5 brothers and sisters, he would have told them that each would get 1 million NEM.
Luckily, the about of XEM has increased. So if I have two accounts under my name, then with 2 account a person will still get 4,450,000 XEM. That of course isn't a 5,000,000 XEM. But if your 5 brothers and sisters only have a BTT account with 2 posts each, I'm going to assume that they don't know that the stakes were increased. So it is still in the power of the sockmaster's ability to give his 5 bothers and sisters 1,000,000 XEM per person.
But lets be real. That isn't going to happen, because nobody's 5 brothers and sisters were like.... "please, please get me some NEM." The thing that happened is people were just trying to game the system. "I'll register 5 and say it was for my brothers and sisters," type of thing.

The rule was that 2 stakes could be purchased from a household, one for yourself and one for your family member. That rule never changed, and I agree with you that someone who claims to have bought stakes for 2+ of their family members should have the extra stakes erased. However, only two stakes were purchased from our household and my stake was deleted, which I think is extremely strange considering what the rules are.
