FYI: registration for ProximaX ICO just started: https://proximax.io/publicsale-signup

The ICO will start the 15th of April and last just 10 days

lon is  very active in telegram, will be interesting to see how much the ico will raise

Unfortunately, Telegram will soon be blocked in Russia, as Durov refused to provide information to special services. They suspect that terrorists are operating in the Telegram.

do you have any source? never heard about that

Hi, does it say "Each Stake shall be sold for USD$ 750" can I buy their tokens worth less than $ 750 ? For example at $ 100? Just didn't participate in the ICO ever. Thanks for the reply.

NEM is still here, though. I just wished I'd picked up two or three instead of one. But back then $30 was what I could afford to lose.
I regret not reserving a stake for a friend or a relative too. Actually at that time there was no point in doing that because they were planning to make a NXT clone, and nobody could expect the final result we are seeing now. Still no news on the silver coins, or they have already abandoned the idea?
What's the silver coin idea?

it´s coming up every few pages. The initial stakeholder should receive some kind of silver coin from the unclaimed stake fund. But the team just got other things going on

The silvercoin fund dates back to 2014 afaik, that's back in the crypto Jurassic period with the dinosaurs,  use the funds to support the security of the network, top up the SN program.

If the project is a success I'm sure NEM will skyrocket its price.
Now is the right time to buy NEM.

https://blog.nem.io/trezor-hardware-wallet-launch/

You should read this update to understand how to store your coins in hardware wallet. Nano Wallet is support this function to get access with Trezor it is very easy process if you follow them than you can do this.

Yes it dates back to the genesis block where funds were taken to provide a reward for stakeholders (silvercoins). If the funds were not taken, everyone would have received a larger stake. Now if the funds are not to be used to reward the original stakeholders, the funds should be returned to the original stakeholders.
You will never get an answer from the devs or the foundation on this here though or a noting has been decided yet, 4 years later.
My feeling is there will be a 5 day vote that pops up someday in which the fund will be "voted" into dev funds or foundation "projects"

Do you have a bittrex fully verified the account?

If you have an account then that will be the best option because their fees also not high.

I bought most of my NEM from bittrex and never had any issues either in deposit or withdraw. But remember that if you don't have a fully verified account then they may not allow you to withdraw your coins.

I dont have full verified account and i still sell buy xem and btc. Daily limit to withdraw btc or xem is 0.4 btc wich is not much but my monthly trade is less then 0.3 btc so am fine with that.

Also full verified accounts cant trade fiat and margin trade and have daily limit to 100 BTC.

Has Nano wallet changed from NanoWallet.exe to start.html which uses java script ?   tests.js??

version 1.4 contains exe, but 2.1.2 contains html

https://blog.nem.io/nanowallet-tutorial/

When there has been talked to move from java to C++, I thought that exe was those first C++ implementations Smiley

Edit:  tutorial doesnt mention java. Isn't java 8 anymore a requirement?

A Message from Kristof Van de Reck
Nem.io
Interim President

The Path Forward

"Dear NEM Community,

The past few days I have watched our community share excitement as well as hesitation over the recent announcement regarding Lon and Jeff stepping aside in their roles to take on new challenges as advisors to the NEM Foundation. I am thankful for their continued contributions to NEM and expect great things to come from them in the future.

I want to share with you some goals as the interim President of the NEM Foundation. I’ve had the opportunity to work closely alongside Lon and Jeff as council member since the inception of NEM.io Foundation; later building out NEM Europe and most recently laying the groundwork for NEM’s Center of Excellence. It is humbling to have earned the trust and support of the Foundation and core devs. My goal is to earn that same trust with our global community in the role as interim President.

The Blockchain landscape has changed dramatically since the inception of the NEM.io Foundation and now is a perfect opportunity for us to re-evaluate our approach and make improvements. It’s important to me that I work with you, the NEM community, to listen to your concerns as well as your hopes for NEM’s future.

I want you to know that I am working closely with our regional heads to better improve communication, transparency and resource allocation so NEM is primed for Catapult’s upcoming release as well as the future roadmap. We have a lot of work ahead of us but I’m up to the challenge and we have the full support of the global NEM team.

NEMbers, there is only one path — forward.

Thank you for your continued support of the NEM Foundation."

Long back I was also trading with the small amount with an unverified account but one day suddenly they didn't allow me to withdraw my coins. The total worth was around 0.1 BTC and when I contacted their support team they ask me to verify my account first then I can withdraw my coins. Luckily my account got verified within seconds or almost instantly after uploading my documents.

So if your using unverified account with bittrex then be careful they may ask you to verify your account at any time.

Yes, Bittrex doesn't have fiat trading feature.
