It's been a while. Is Nem launching soon?
Early December, we hope !!! We hope yes. If not then not. I'm not too worried about WHEN we launch. For me it's important HOW we launch. Launching a stable network that is absoutely bullet-proof and well tested is much more important to me than launching next month or even this year. Only few coins that have released recently have been written from scratch and they are facing serious issues. I don't know how Crypti is doing but NODE had some outages recently...again. This can't and won't happen to us because we won't release until we're absolutely ready for it. I don't mean to say we're taking things slow - hell no. We're going as fast as possible but as slow as neccessary. People will be able to be confident in our software and network from day 1 and that is worth a lot more than launching before some imaginary deadline. Other things - beside devlopment - also take time but as xtester said those things will be announce soon

Other things - beside devlopment - also take time but as xtester said those things will be announce soon When I did research into the Map of Coins I found that there were dozens of people claiming to launch new coins from new codes. Of those, only three of note have live blockchains. They are Node, Crypti, and Qora and all three of those are suffering badly. NEM in beta is already better than they are by far. The reality is that NXT is the only new code that has been able to become successful. (If you can call NXT successful. It has definitely met a lot of resistance in the community) Another argument can be made for Bitshares or Ripple or CounterParty, which are independent codes, but differ quite a bit in substance. For instance none of these looks to be a real competitor with Bitcoin and try to replace it, in fact just the opposite, they kind of need Bitcoin. Where as NEM won't need Bitcoin at all, it will stand on its own, and there is a chance could even someday displace Bitcoin. Yes, that day would be far off, but NEM does have better tech, just not sure how that will hold up to Bitcoin's head start.

We have arrived happily to Nem! Finally finally we managed to with BETA app and REDEMPTION Salsac says that is Iq test. It IIISSS IQ TEST ! we won it and are in Nem now. Thank you! After all this joy, we have noticed other things also. While we were in pain with BETA and Phase, we had a lot time to study ournem.com. There is no doub that we see a Hamlet there. Last year my co-worker adviced me to read Shakespeare. I took Hamlet and read. Todays when I stop to thinking somethin , my friend always ask: Something rotten in Denmark? And layghs. Now it comes to my mind: something wrong in nem? In nem forum is one hamlet fighting against ghosts. It is funny, but also not. It looks his right but noone give a sht. What is right in nem? To be or not to be? That is from Shakespear. There is all that. Gold silver ghosts plans laughs angrys hopes. But it is sorrow. Because it ends until someone die.

I agree with Jabo. I was watching videos made buy different financial institutions in which they were sceptic about Bitcoin and they gave some reasonably sounding arguments. Mostly about mining monopoly. Their conclusion was that Bitcoin will crash in long term. All those most succesful coins are dependant on Bitcoin. NXT is the only real alternative, but wears stigma (rather undeserved) that is really damaging. NEM is in extremely good position to be Nr.1 alternative to BTC. Seriously, it doesnt have any problems BTC does, any problems Crypti/Node/Qora are having. When you think about it, there is no product in better shape on crypto market.

Yes, that day would be far off, but NEM does have better tech, just not sure how that will hold up to Bitcoin's head start. That's right Jabo. In fact, I have been telling the devs and the rest of the team members that if we should launch in January, let it be. We have to be fair to the devs. They are not only coding. They have to work out the documentation, make our NEM exchange ready, test the codes, answer to Beta problems, solve Beta problems, finish up multisig, work on their day jobs and meet the target forced upon by many of us here who just don't know and understand what it takes to do this project. It is a monumental task that most don't appreciate. They are world class coders to say the least! I hope they don't need to spend Christmas coding for us instead. But I will not be taken aback if that happens. Multisig must happen at launch, like it or not. Too much at stake and NEM stakes literally!

Great news. In that way distribution will be more reliable and equity. After some deliberation it was then suggested that the total supply be 8,999,999,999 NEM coins Nice number. And with client, any ideas why client so cpu hungry?

Quality is our primary goal so we are speeding as much as possible toward that. Though as we all know, quality takes time, a lot of time. At the end of the day our dev team is prepared to invest more time than give up on quality, and NEM is very different because of that.
