Why according to NXT pricing? nem is fairer than the NXT, more popular currency. It's worth more than the NXT Why is NEM more farier than NXT? 2) Proof-of-Importance instead of Proof-of-Stake, so the rich don't just get richer Actually the rich dont really get much richer, you need to be a significant bagholder to even earn a small amount of NXT, so its unlikley that bagholders are going to be earning thousands of NXT per day (or even week for that matter)

Before Christmas Will be launch the coin or the deadline when the nem coin will be out? I am confused
I think he meant the next announcement +1 same wonder. Just to be clear, I meant the 3rd announcement. It has nothing to do with the official launch.

Here is an interesting quote from a pretty big developer in the Bitcoin world. He has just announced he will be helping to integrate Bitcoin fully into reddit. http://www.redditblog.com/2014/12/welcome-drew-ryan-mike-daniel-joe-dave.html"I discovered bitcoin on May 13, 2011 and never recovered. After developing a reputation as the bitcoin guy at the physics department, I eventually quit my physics PhD program and went full-time bitcoin. I worked for the best bitcoin company in the world, BitPay, but couldn't pass up an opportunity to bring bitcoin to millions of reddit users. I'm working on reddit's digital asset, as well as general purpose bitcoin infrastructure to enable things like micropayments and contracts. My favorite things are elliptic curves, hash functions, and Merkle trees. My favorite subreddits are /r/bitcoin, /r/sloths and /r/earthporn. If I had written bitcoin, it would have been in javascript." A lot of people will talk trash about Java, but it is actually a very good program and many top developers think so.

Java and JavaScript are two different languages. Nxt is Java, not sure about Qora.
But I just wanted to ask how many NEMs will be in each stake? And can anyone confirm what the final total number of NEM in ciculation will be? I remember seeing some discussion on this but I don't think there was a conclusion.
Thanks,

Still to be announced but you can whack my ass with a hockey stick if its not 8999999999 For total supply I guess, I think I saw that before. And there are ~1500 stakes that have been claimed, so about 6 million coins per stake?Edit: Just saw your edit. Is 4000 the right number of stakes?

The limitation of JavaScript only allows for less than around 9 Billion coins. After some deliberation it was then suggested that the total supply be 8,999,999,999 NEM coins and distributed in the same ratio as before (each stake being worth 1/4000 of the total supply). Therefore, each stake will be entitled to 2,249,999.99975 NEM coins. https://medium.com/@xtester/nem-newsletter-7-2014-10-21-5c78d69bbb12
