This antminer s3 is very fantastic ! Very good product for all miners .

5 ANTMINERS  s3 running since some hours now.
First impressions.



1) packing was poorer than the S1 but managed to arrive in one piece.
2) hash rate is unit 1          436 after about 11 hours
                     unit 2          449
                     unit 3          467
                     unit 4          452
                     unit 5          428

3) cables well possitioned
4) unit looks nice and solid
5) Same PSU from my S1 miners GooooooooD
6) would buy more Definatelly yes but as i say in my signature I want more than I can have!!!

Generally happy, hope it will add some overclocking later to reach at least the first anncounced specs.

All those B1 S3's that have been running for a while, have you managed to get the 'BestShare' to show anything other than '0' in the management interface in the 'Miner Status' tab?  Or does this require an upgrade of the firmware?

I'm in the B2 still waiting to hear that the units have been shipped  

My best share is showing at 33,882,855

If it is still at 0 then it's not sending anything to the pool

Thanks for the feedback, I haven't received my S3's yet as I'm in B2.  But was just wondering if the BestShare was working as I've seen a few people on here saying it was showing '0', maybe they hadn't had the S3 running very long?

What does discarded mean on the miner stats? Mine seem pretty high.

They also don't seem to be hashing very well on P2Pool after 24 hours:

Have you restarted it after disabling the beep?

dont use wifi
if you have to, and must, then place ur wifi router as close as possible with ur miners
and make sure it wont lose connection even a milisecond..
u know... miners also sensitive if not connected to internet

How did you manage to locate your order being registered with UPS?

Use their "track by reference" function and use your bitmain order number as the reference. Select the dates, destination country and zip code (if in the U.S.) and UPS's system will search based on the order number as given by bitmaintech.com .
