BACKUP YOUR WALLETS ----- NOW!  Be carefule if you are compiling it using the same datadir for convenience and will be changed later.  This could cause you to need to resync trk.  You can always start up with the switch -datadir=

Wallet backed up !

Split up my amount in 1600 TRK blocks about 30 min. ago using coin control.
Strange to send 1600 TRK's blocks to my own TRK account.

I hope I did the right thing using coin control to split up ?

compiling now. Two different machines. I'll take the wallet from the other machine when it's done. There isn't a problem taking wallet.dat from windows to ubunutu is there?

Ok, good to know, 1st time I used it.
1600 TRK per block or should it have been 1000 TRK ?

Never start a project without adequate coffee. I'm compiling the daemon, not the QT. Which is the precise opposite of what I intended. Ah well, a bit more time is all Tongue

Glad you're back in the game. You'e one of about four people I'd bother with their project right now Cheesy

Thanks biomech, glad to finally be posting on the same thread again Smiley

FYI daemon compiled well on ubuntu for me. Beware that the datadirectory is still /.truckcoin/ - I am in the process of changing it over and committing it to github, but it might take a second.

I'm going to vent for a minute.

Why is it that the instructions for compiling a QT wallet NEVER FUCKING WORK??? Is there some secret handshake or something? They all are the same, for every coin I've tried. qmake, then make.  Dependencies are in place. Yet it fails. Every goddamned time. What the fuck am I doing wrong??? <bangs head on keyboard>

Daemon compiled just fine. Dammit. the one I did by mistake works??? </rant>
