Thanks for this review of the books. I'm sure each person will have their opinions as sports betting can be a fairly toxic industry but I can see the work you put into this and it at least gives a general feel for the market.

I am very curious (and I think still many others are as well) why these Sportbook have the A rating? The highest ratings, while they have red card in their topic.
What is the logic with that? No offense of course, but I think it will not make any sense to rate them as A Sportbook if you consider their reputation here on the topics that are written.

In the image is shown Nitrogensports and Betcoinsports are compared constantly.
It is a good question why these 2 sites are compared all the time, while they are by far not the most popular ones in the topics.
Maybe it is time to make a new table ?

All books are invited to be on the spreadsheet. They have been asked numerous times to PM with markets offered if they want inclusion. Some markets are seasonal making it easier if the book would reply. Nitrogen and Betcoin are the only two that have replied to date.

This is a players thread and poster feedback is very important to the ratings. Every post is considered. Some of these books have been in business since 2013. There will be complaints just as they are with any other business. Bitcointalk does not verify complaints or look into red feedback. That said, there are some cases where a book's reply is sufficient to keep the book from being downgraded.

Hey Peeps Place..  How about a 'cash out complaints' service for the BCT gambling community like how SBR does it.  I'd be glad to help out.  Smiley

Hi tokeweed, it is a great idea but may not be the best idea for this thread. It puts me in a no win situation. I'll think about it some more and will definitely get back to you if I have a change of heart.

Hi Peep's,

Cloudbet pulled a serious fast one on me.  They were processing my cashouts and withdrawals, they knew I was a winning bettor and I was up on them.  They waited until I deposited again and they froze my account and gave me a KYC.  I am a US resident but I have been living in mexico during the virus, I sent them in my permanent residence documents bla bla, they said it proves that I was a USA resident and that they are entitled to keep the last deposits/cashout.

There's more to the story.  I had like $30k in the account at one point during that day and they had mis-graded Benoit Paire retire in 2nd set.  it gave me an extra $3k but I was puzzled but didn' quite realize it was actually a mis-grade, just figured they might have different rules for retires or something weird.  I was confused.  Anyways they froze the account and told me I didn't tell them about the mis-grade so all bets after that would be void which is bullsh**.  So they pull that one on me where they do a mis-grade and then all bets are void if I don't lose.  Then they tell me since I had a USA IP at one point and I have a residence in USA which is my more permanent residence since I don't really have utility bills here in Mexico as I am moving from place to place bla bla bla.

Long story short they just pulled all the angles in the "book" to take my $15,000 67 BCH and I need help to get it back I am trying everything.  Someone offered to start a site too, he was very kind to do that at https://cloudbetscams.com detailing the situation.

So basically they got me to deposit as a winning account and started pulling a few maneuvers to make sure I didn't leave with the money.

They are a scamming book finding all the angles to take a winning account's money.  They got me to deposit because they were cashing me out, and they knew they were going to keep my deposits.  I'm really upset for a week now since it happened to put it lightly.  To me this money is life changing, it's a lot and it would change my life, and I deposited it, didn't even win it.  The lifetime of the account i was up at cloudbet but doesn't mean i don't lose it back at other sites.  I needed that money I was on a losing streak and i fired basically the last of my coin and they kept all of it on the last cashout freezing $15,000.

Help.

I can provide more info soon but thought I'd just run down the details.

Efxes just posted this and I thought I should share it here:

They stole $15,000 from me in bitcoin. They have done it to countless other people. They are constantly stealing from people and not paying them. The only way they pay is if you find a way to prevent people from depositing and things. They are truly a virus on the community. There are tons of people talking about how they just confiscated $15,000 of my deposits with vague TOS rules, and we are just bumping their thread further and many people are just seeing Cloudbet advertised and not following what is going on.

You guys should see all of the scams in the past the site has been dealing with. They owe me $15,000 and countless others. You can follow my scam accusation thread here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5277995.0

You can also see a list of about 30 scam threads started from different people over the years here:

really bad one

I just went in their discord chat and there was another message from the chat who said they rolled him for 2 BTC ($20,000) and they aren’t paying him back either.

I know how the place operates. They offer an extremely wide selection of odds to anonymous users who use only crypto-currency- this leaves their sportsbook extremely vulnerable to any sharp action or syndicate bettors who can take advantage of obscure betting lines and matches. Then when they begin to get hit, they find ways to just ban any winning bettor and confiscate the money.

They confiscate the money not only to profit themselves and put it back into marketing budget to get losing gamblers, but they also want to break any winning bettor so that they don’t come back and make a new account and continue to gamble with them.

Instead of Cloudbet using this model and scamming people left and right, how about they just offer less betting lines and higher juice and not be an entirely thieving corporation?

Also their username has begun to get serious amounts of flags and some negative trust rating, and I hope it continues and they are completely banned from the site and their thread taken down. See their profile here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=154563

They have a legendary account and guess what, positive trust ratings mostly due to influencer marketing and signature campaigns. They are bringing in new suckers to steal money from. If they don’t win it by gambling losses, they take the money by force. Any long term winner on the site will get KYC’d and served some sort of TOS to keep the funds, or they’ll just hold it indefinitely and not even respond. I’ve seen it all.

Can we get rid of this thieving site? How about you return my money first, Cloudbet? Again, see the scam accusation thread and decide for yourself if these people should still have a place on bitcointalk as a legendary person. I don’t think so. I will ask others who know about what is going on to weigh in on this thread and I hope you do keep it up. We need to clean up these scammers from the crypto community- they are obviously rampant with what they can get away with being anonymous.

Again they need to change their business model so that they don’t need to scam people in order to survive as a casino.

They want to take $15,000 from me, out of my deposits and say since I am a winning account they can do that #1 and #2 they are saying that because I logged in from a USA IP and have a permanent residence in USA that I could not have been gambling on their account for 3 months from Mexico where I have been staying during the pandemic since I am out of work. I need the funds for my day to day life, they were processing tons of deposits and cashouts. See here all my deposits to the site.

Here are all of the deposits I had made to the site in the last days.

FINAL CASHOUT REQUEST was around 67 BCH. Some other cashouts had been processed along the way without freezing the account yet.

I trusted them with tons of money and they waited until I deposited a lot of funds until they scammed me and took all the money. They also pulled an even worse move- they mis-graded a wager, the winning total was about $3,000. But my account balance at the time was about $30,000. I didn’t notice the mis-grade, and they were telling me that since there was a mis-grade, ALL the bets I made after that should be voided because I didn’t let them know personally and was playing with their funds. it was 10% of my account balance and I had no idea. It was a retire in a 2nd set and some books have different rules so I wouldn’t know.

If they don’t change they need to go. Where is the $15k Cloudbet.
