That would make one bad ass gaming rig. lol

ATI has enough trouble getting two GPUs to Crossfire properly.  It'd actually be a pretty shitty gaming rig.  Tongue

Must be doing it wrong? I had two 560 448 ti's in sli for the longest time. They still ran some games better than the new 280x cards I have in crossfire. Hell of a lot quieter, too  Cheesy

I did not say everything SLI was a fail. lol

Why are the new gpus louder ? Sapphire heat bags ?

No complaints about EVGA's coolers, btw. Very cool.. very quiet. Too bad they don't do AMD. heh..

Yeah, sapphire dual-x. I have a set of WF 7970's though, they still run into 80-90 easy when overclocking. Impossible to run them quad fire without serious airflow, like high velocity really really loud fans.

I wouldn't hardly buy anything but EVGA with nvidia  Grin

One of my clients sent me a pic of his mine.  All of the rigs are mounted in my mining trays (with tops).

The GPUs are all 7950 Radeons (mostly MSI Twin Frozrs).   Max hash is currently at around 73MH.

Box fan cooling FTW!   Grin

Nice! I guess you better go big or not mine at all.

It doesn't need to be pretty...fairly efficient with cold room temps. Anyone know how much power the stock AMD fans draw when you wind them up to 5K rpm?

I don't have any further information.  I just built the cases that the rigs are mounted in.   Roll Eyes
