Wow 12 ghash with usb's for about 9k$.While I can appreciate the low power cost I think id try to just go with a blade for 6500ish. Nice setup tho.

$9k ?! What is this fiat you speak of ? Have been reinvesting Bitcoins i've mined over the last couple years into upgraded hardware Wink

you ordered from friedcat and already got them?

Absolutely blown away with their service. Received them 3 days after making payment.

I can't speak highly enough of the ASICMiner team.

Not entirely sure about the hardware errors, but it seems to be common amongst everyone that has reported on them. Will try with CGMiner 3.2.0 later this evening and see if that does not help to improve things.

Why did you elect to go with 36 USB miners at a cost of over 72 BTC versus just getting a blade that hashes at the same rate for 50 BTC?  Huh

( Had three ports that would not accept any Erupter USB that was plugged into it, but worked fine in any other slot. *shrugs* )

Not as many mining in these around...

That giant window fan is actually to exhaust my kitchen/whole apartment but it obviously helps suck all that miner heat outside as well!  That's an old iPad 1 on the wall I use for kitchen stuff but it makes a nice VNC terminal...

I'm likely using the same hardware that you have. Can you (or have you in another thread?) let us know what software you are running these with? Are you on a windows machine?

Thanks in advance!

judging by the picture its cgminer 3.1.1 (bitminter) and .bat would indicate windows

Most computer fans blow air in the direction of the back of the motor. The fans in the picture are likely blowing air to the cards.
