Short answer: No Slightly less short answer: The Gridseed 5-chips used to be worth it for pure Scrypt mining a few months ago, but not for dual mining SHA and Scrypt, and DEFINITELY not worth it now with all the Scrypt coins being innundated with much higher speed ASICs and much lower profitability per MHs.

I justed finished my Neptun Project. Corsair 1200i is working very well per 3 modules. Is over 30 TH now But now i have a lot die issue. Who have experience with that ? I do. Out of 50 Neptune boxes I had to take 12 of them apart and put IC Diamond thermal grease. Use a amp meter to check which boxes are pulling low amps. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=666970.0

Nice, what will be the immersion fluid? Be sure to put something like copper sulfate in the glycol loops to prevent inferior organisms taking over.
Novec 7100. I have some test fluid on the way and hopefully I can get a test Neptune in the fluid on Monday or Tuesday and see how it does.

Ahhhh... Damn. I just want to get in this game and learn something about it as cheaply as possible, but i cant find a way to go under 100-150$ . I even considered buying some USB asics just to play around with them, but cant find them cheep . Tnx anyways. I just dont get why prices are so high from something that cant do anything anymore? Even fcn USV 333mhs sha256 ASIC goes for like 15-20$ and they cant mine ANYTHING . And its bit to much for souvenir . btw, i rly like ur avatar, is it XBOX avatar ? .)

Are you using free air cooling or is it ACd? With immersion you should get a better PUE, N7100 is single phase, right? Is the stuff expensive? How high is your power cost? Are you doing immersion because of high power cost or for fun?

Are you doing immersion because of high power cost or for fun? I have a 12000 sq ft warehouse with 60 tons of cooling but I don't turn on the AC's because of the cost. It really doesn't get that warm due to the size and 16 ft tall ceilings. I just bought a 15000CFM upblast fan I am going to install on the roof to exhaust hot air. The Novec is about $300 a gallon. My power costs are .10/kw now. The more I use the cheaper it gets, down to about .08/kw I am immersion cooling for fun. If I can crank the Neptunes and or Monarchs (when they arrive), I will immersion cool everything. If the performance if marginal I will just immerse some of it.

I've posted the setup before, but have updated some things, and currently getting ready for doubling capacity with power and cooling upgrades, so there will be even more racks soon. Also moving all the rigs out of my house and back into the space now that winter is winding down slightly. Rack #1: Rack #2 (minus the rigs at my house for heating): Command and Control - Bitcoinwisdom graphs, CGremote, OpenNMS (PDU amp and temperature monitoring/graphing), and an IP camera of my warehouse space: My hash rate, which used to be top 5 on wemineltc, but now has dropped to top 20 and dwindling: Semi-related toys: Where did you get that bitcoin accepted here sign?! I want one!
