how do people actually mined with all those gpus on a single motherboard..? I mean, do you needed all the drivers or what? guide me through it.

Back then there was a lot of info on a few motherboards.  The motherboards had in some cases 5-6 GPU slots (Even x1 slot's were used).   We used risers to spread them apart and try to push air through them.   Needless to say it was quite a different world.

Nice clean setup, but did you get a good deal on the EVGA NEX750G power supplies?  I would have probably went with half as many EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 G2 power supplies and powered two S3's each.  18 x $95 vs. 9 x $170.

Well I actually had EVGA 750 novas from my thunder X6 Zeus miners. So I had 6 of those. I clock all my s3's to 500ghz so that draws +/- 400w , so I went 1 psu for 1 s3. Then on second shelf I used (1) EVGA 1300W to power 3 overclocked s3+'s . Works like a charm. Each shelf held (6) S3+ . Top shelf I used the evga 750 I had on hand from the zeus and did 1 for 1. 2nd and third shelf was (1) 1300w evga for 3 overclocked s3+ B11 @ 500ghz stable. Power supplies mounted under the 3s's. And I wanted to ask how you manage heat dissipation, but I guess you are running them outside (based on the reflection in the door window...

ya, I have a basement, so they are outside and covered and enclosed. Heat is not an issue.

Being a novice to mining, is a setup like that suitable for solo mining or with the current difficulty and size of pools is it pointless to solo mine?

I don't think anything like that would be profitable in Australia. Electricity to run my 4 miners cost about $13/24hr AUD. Even with my current setup I switch it on only for certain times and hope the pool gets lucky and finds some blocks in the gaps.

Not using my main account for privacy...

Here's my setup.  Hot aisle/cold aisle with redundant portable ACs and 10kw of 240V available at my PDU.  Had an electrician come in and install a subpanel just for it.  Heat gets exhausted out the window by a 3000CFM squirrel cage fan.

still got up to about 20 btc at one point though. which was basically all gone before the run up to 244...

Automatic Transfer Switch - to switch between two different power feeds
Novec 1230 fire suppression system
Security Cameras
Security Card access control - Extra trackable security on each door
VESDA fire detection system - Early warning industrial fire detection

All of these options would feed back into the KubeOS system and can all be monitored, graphed, and alerted on threshold breaches.  The system also has two way communication and is capable of basic management of devices in the data center like remote power cycling, turning lights on and off, unlocking doors remotely or adjusting fan speeds.
