I sorta like it the way it is, for now anyway. It limits the amount of people who can mine, so I can get more! lol. But yea, eventually, to gain popularity, there probably should be some sort of simplified installation method, and GUI miner.

you should check the file size in plots directory, thats how much your plot size is, or just simply check ur free disk space

Getting errors tried Xmx4000, then 2000, then 1000, then 500 - all errors. I'm 64Bit, i popped in more memory, now im up to 16GB ram on the PC. I used the 3809280 2048 7

I have an AMD 8 core cpu, only using 7.

Let's start simple - 1TB drive (the 500MB and the 1.5TB have files on them. The 1TB is a clean format with nothing on it).

There is no reason that generate_run command should not have your 500 gig drive plotting just fine, then do the same with a different account # on the 1TB drive, and when it is done, then run the same command but replace the 0 with 1600001, and the 1600000 with 3200000...

You really cannot get much more simple than this...set it and forget it (START MINING NOW!)

What is you OS? 32 or x64. If x64, have you installed java for x64 ?
What drive is your 1.5TB ?
You have 16 GB memory? Please confirm.

I sorta like it the way it is, for now anyway. It limits the amount of people who can mine, so I can get more! lol. But yea, eventually, to gain popularity, there probably should be some sort of simplified installation method, and GUI miner.

yeah, but I've been mining for 2 days - Nothing found.

Yup, capping to 750 should help but *if* you have x64 you could go way faster in generating plots.

building miner using java is simply wrong, we need to have real miner with real programming language soon
